Buy a ps3 AND a PC. Then, everyone challenging you to a 1v1 then backing out cuz they're not on the same platform will have no more excuses.

They don't need Zae. They take turns doing Platinum solos, all 3 of them.

4 of them. My "friend" bought ME3 on the WiiU... needless to say we are not friends anymore.

Unless you're going to build your own.

Of course, you actually need a monitor with a refresh rate that high in order for that to matter.

Batman is nothing without Joker and vice versa... Everyone needs a good arch enemy. Guess I'll have to settle for that scrub Token, or that self righteous toolbag knockingbrain.
I see. I guess I should be glad SlowerThanASnail is never going to actually do what he says and play real sports, then...

A mobo & case to put it all together

If the most intense thing you do with your PC would be gaming:
Intel i5 4670K ~ 200 bucks
A good motherboard ~ 175 bucks
Good 8GB DDR3 RAM ~ 80 bucks
120'ish GB SSD ~ 100 bucks
Windows 8.1 OS ~ 100 bucks
A good 650W PSU ~ 100 bucks
A good case ~ 100 bucks
Good CPU heatsink Air ~ 40 bucks OR good CPU heatsink water 75 bucks
A decent Bluray/CD/DVD drive ~ 50 bucks
A good 60Hz 1080p monitor ~ 150 bucks OR a 120+Hz 1080p gaming monitor ~ 300 bucks
Assuming you went for the watercooled and 120Hz monitor build, you'd still have around 600 bucks for the GPU, which will see you to enough GPU juice to power gaming @ 1080p with 120Hz at fluid 60+fps games on maximum settings (more like beyond 100fps for everything that isn't a power hog like Crysis 3 for example, ME3 and LoL will run way beyond 100 fps with such a build).
If you do not go with the 120Hz monitor build, you can go for a R9 280X or GTX 770 and still play everything at 1080p with 60+ fps for almost every game.
Or you could go for a decent 1440p @60Hz monitor instead and again go for a GTX 780 or R9 290 instead and play all those games at 1440p with around 60 fps at highest settigns for most games.
Suffice it to say, with 1900 bucks, you'll have a PC that will be the envy of your peers.

Wat yall think is better? Laptop or desktop?
For gaming, desktop, hands down.
Laptops are inherently inferiour in peak performance due to their structural limitations. And whilst there are really powerful laptops around to buy, their performance-to-price ratio is abysmal.
Unless you are literally on move almost the entire time, a desktop PC will be better. And if push comes to shove and you do move around from one location to the next a lot, unless you only have time to play whilst actually being on the move, it's still cheaper to build an ITX format PC and take it alongside a small monitor with you in a wellpadded case.

Why would you buy ME3 for PC? It's gonna take at least 700 hours to max the manifest.
And that's just the time you'll spend buying packs.
