just 5 steps:
1-the character must be pink.
2. Reegar or PPR with Incendiary Ammo
3. Batarian Gaunlet
4. ??????
5. Profit

I wouldn't skip the orbs as they will provide a 30% recharge bonus vs. the 20% from 6a on the passives. Just put three points into it. This is how I play the guy.
I tried your build with falcon, many thanks for pointing it out. It is actually quite reasonable and works pretty well on silver. Did a solo and died only twice, also got 25 melee kills. Have not tried on gold yet and a variety with wraith/omniblade. IMO, wraith would work better for UUG, falcon is such a weak gun but it gives that disruptor ammo application before charging.

Sorry, man, I'm not that good of a player. My volus is blue, has no reegar, and does not care about profit. If it goes that way, I might just put javelin on him. That would be easier and more in style with blue.

I forgot a very important part in my derp-ness: The Heavy Melee. In the case that you don't get Shield Boost immediately, go to a heavy melee, especially at 60fps. You'll lose some shooting time, but you'll get rid of your survivability issue. You get, I think 50% DR from the HM, then 40% for a few seconds after Charging. Those stack. So, if you can't survive with 90% DR for 4-5 seconds and a Piranha/Reegar/Hurricane/Talon/whatever other weapon you want, I'm not sure there's much I can do.
Sorry, it just does not work. Maybe, your numbers are a bit on the wrong side. The damage reduction window is much smaller and damage by enemies is much higher. I think, no fitness build would get killed even through 90% DR. It is very hard to survive playing like that. I'm not that good, need something robust.
Batarian guantlet, on the other hand, works fine, I think, just have to be careful. Three is a magic number. Four is a death sentence.

Raider Volus is a Monster on Gold. Inc. Ammo for nice fire explosions. Orbs specced for cooldown, no fitness build. You surive by iframes and the fact that you can be permacloaked as the cloak for standing and Running are in separate timers.
Care to elaborate please, I'm not sure I understand the permanent cloack part. This sounds interesting.

If you initiate his cloak alternating Form the Running and standing volus animation you habe no cooldown on the cloak as they seem to be in separate timers. Reapers are easiest with him.

Can you please be more specific. For idiots like me. When to tap F specifically?

Excellent info, I must try this!

Ok, that is clear, many thanks, will be surely trying it. Looks very promising. I did not realize at all that it is possible to cloak while running. This certainly favors the use of birst fire weapons or shotguns, no reegar or PPR then. Falcon might still be OK. Raider/wraith sound like a perfect match.

try this melee nutpunching build..
Its ton of fun on gold... cloak charge and nutpunch.. .. one nutpunch easily kills sheilded mooks on gold, even phantoms can be destroyed with one wraith shot followed by cloaked charge and then nutpunched..
Thanks, will try skipping the orbs, seems very reasonable with conservative accurate play.
I wouldn't skip the orbs as they will provide a 30% recharge bonus vs. the 20% from 6a on the passives. Just put three points into it. This is how I play the guy. Build is at the end
Volus Punchguard
Agreed... however I feel those 3 floating balls come in the way of him and enemies' balls:lol:

I know something was no right with is cloak.
Sometime I could double cloak for no reason.
Now I know why.

Glad you liked it. Disruptor is a good compliment to it with the continual tech bursts and staggering.
