I have read about the characters in DA that have ended up as DLC. Shale's issue I mentioned above.

With Sebastian, he was delayed due to a rewrite. Before anyone cries foul on rewrites, please remember that the Darkspawn wasn't originally even a part of Origins. That only came a few rewrites later.

Yeah I had forgotten about that although someone already confirmed on here that the elf ain't Dorian and that some of the people in the war room are not companions. In fact I think they may have even said several. 



So we know the scribe girl isn't and we know Varric and Cass are, so that leaves the elf, the robed guy, someone who looks like Cullen and someone who looks like Leliana. 

As i said my theory is that Dorian is out and that Lelianna was never a companion but I really have no idea. 

I expect to be wrong about some of them at least. I have no idea if the robed guy is dorian or not he could be anyone tbh. 

When did they ever say the Scribe girl was not a companion and the red head girl in the hood is Leliana.

I can't remember where exactly it was said, but I definitely rememebr them saying words to that effect as well.

She seems more like a personal assistant anyway, like Kelly Chambers.

I hope she's a non-companion LI, as well.

Well then the Scribe girl could be an agent along with Leliana and Dagna. I really have no idea for another companion other than Cullen. I hope the companion list is good along with the Day 1 DLC character.

They didn't, what Gaider said was i'm not telling you if she isn't or is one and that another one Schumacher I believe said that he had knowledge of who she was but that was it and that he liked teaseing us with said knowledge.

We actually don't know if she is or isn't one just yet but I don't think she is, rather she's probably an ally or an agent but it could go either way, and i'm wondering if she may be a bard if so something weeks said may make more sense if she"s a companion.

Not really since some of them may not be companions, and Gaider said those in the survey and the war room concept may not be be comapnions.

Also I disagree with a couple of them, especially the mustache guy who Schumache went " Who" to and said he didn't know him which may not bode well for him if he was serious.

Not a 100% sold on Cullen, but for now he makes sense and fits the things they've said and scibe girl may or may not be one, also there's a chance the iron bull isn't one aswell.

It would definitely fit the ginger haired woman's ill tempered appearance in the war room concept art.
However, if this companion was formerly of the circle, I'd doubt that the developers would have put Vivienne
in the same fraternity as her. So in that case, what would Vivienne been a part of, if she wasn't a Libertarian?

My thoughts are that: given she's supposed to be unlike Wynne, but still pro-circle, that would put the
Aequitarians and Isolationists off the table. Which leaves behind the Loyalists and the Lucrosians.
However, since she wants to help her fellow mages in any way she can, I'd doubt she's a Loyalist.

So there remains just the Lucrosians, which actually fits quite well, given Vivienne's demeanour & dress sense.
To add to this notion, one should remember she's referred to as Madame De Fer by the Orlesian Imperial Court.

Oh, I thought you meant gentle as in demeanor. I was going to say "Well Merrill sure seemed gentle and she was a companion." but I misunderstood what you meant. She could potentially be a Rogue, and simply be wearing subtle clothes to make others think she is not, but yeah pretty sure not Mage or Warrior classes.

If so the woman wearing the hood on the far right is Leliana.

Okay true, but I say most of them are companions and if the scribe girl isn't, she's an important npc. I believe the Iron Bull is one though, what makes you think he isn't? I do agree on the spear guy though, maybe he's been scrapped or changed a lot.

The companions we know for sure. 1. Varric 2. Cassandra 3. Vivienne 4. Sera (don't know where that name came from, but I'll go with it) 5. Grey Warden. I have a good feeling on Cullen, so the last 3 are unknown but I bet on the Iron Bull being a companion.

Ehhh, sure, why not. But I bet a lot of people don't want her back and I doubt she will be but if she was, I'd be cool with it.
