I'm wondering is there gonna be an approval meter like DAO, or freindship/rivalry meter in DA2? I'm also wondering if theres gonna be any personality dialogue like in DA2.

Can't imagine there wouldn't be. The friendship and rival meter was a sort of staple in DAO and DA2. If the game trailer play through is any indication, your campaigns will agree or disagree with you choice, like Varric did in the trailer. And you'll probably see the repercussions, like you did in the trailer.

It'll be based on DAO's approval system.

they sort of explained the approval, I think. Its kind of a mix between the two. And as far as I know there isn't personality choices in dialogue but there might be something else.... im not really sure.

About the dialogue choices, there'll be the three types of wheel:
1)action wheel: the one in the PAX demo. You choose how to deal with certain situations (it was presen in certain situations in DA2 as well).
2)tone wheel: the Classic DA2 wheel.
3)reaction wheel: a new type of wheel, where you choose the emotion of your character. We don't know how many or what emotions will be present.

Variety seems to be something that Bioware plays to, at least in terms of their solo MCs (Hawke, Shepard).  It would be pretty weird to give dialouge choices (Kind, Mischievous, Brutal) for the entire game and have just a generic bland, cookie cutter MC.
