Playing a lot, learning tips and tricks and random useful glitches is great, but you don't become a better player if you dont keep raising the challenge level. Often. Play some gold games, try new characters, play plat... try doing a duo... solo games, etc. not a big fan of solos... playing with a team is just way more fun:), (plus dying at wave 9/10 an hour in, gets old pretty fast) but that's the best way to improve your situational awareness and to know that you can carry a wave when the rest of your team finds a banshee to hug:pinched:.
I'm not a great player, but i'm happy to say that i'm getting better at it and that's all thanks to friends who invited me to play together (thanks dreems [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie])and made me realise that platinum ain't that big a deal.
With a decent team.
A pair of good players can usually move a plat game along nicely. Sh*t happens sometimes (glacier hazard collector clusterf*ck anyone?)
A friend of mine would never kick anyone out of a PUG lobby, cuz its nice to help noobs along and it makes a great challenge. And usually i agree. Unless the random is being a dick. And if u wipeout,... meh, the rng store.. she takes 'em credits and gives you the finger anyways.
So if you are finding it hard to move up to Gold or Platinum, lets get together with more practiced players and do a few games[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/cool.png[/smilie]
So here is the plan... if you need someone to help u get used to the pace of the game in gold or plat please post here and we'll try and make it happen.
And please don't bring a lvl 4 character. And equip some decent gear. And enough medi-gels, etc. And use 'em gels. But please don't gel if your teammates can help you. I'm tired of people doing that - its ok to get killed, not ok to burn through all your gels when a nearby teammate can revive you.
And if YOU are willing to help other people improve their game PLEASE post a reply as well.
please post ur GT / Origin ID / PSN... any wii players:O?
also, i guess what time do you usually play, what difficulty and of course - are u looking for help or are you offering to help new people improve their game
For example:
Plat noob here
originID

or
EXP-erienced gold/Plat

And if you have any comments, suggestions or middle fingers (within reason;)) plese post.
