Emotionally Powerful

It is the heart-breaking and breath-taking true feeling it brings to you that makes it memorable many years down the road. No science fiction has ever done that on this level, and Mass Effect, you are not only standing on top of the pyramid of si-fi, but also showing what video games are capable of. Your experience is like the milky way flowing through the sky, and will always be remembered by those ones who watched it.
5 more days to go, and I finally find myself ready, emotionally.

Yup they have some ok stories going although i wouldnt say emotionally engaging.
That's how I feel about DA....Overall the game was a real let down. Still a good game. But not what I expected it to be. However, I do NOT share this sentiment about ME. I cant put my finger on it but, I really enjoyed the story in ME1. So Im hoping that this is true as well x2 for the sequel.

This is what I like, the varied stories being presented in such an awesome way. Mass Effect 1 is phasing out now... but Mass Effect 2 is honestly exactly what I've been looking for in a video game, and:
1)I'm not even a shooter fan
2)I haven't even played the damn thing yet!

Honestly, the characters actually feeling like people to me is kinda escalated by how good this storyline is, and how I think. Just from watching the previews, I feel like I've "gotten to know" some of these characters. And after the latest trailer, I've decided that, no matter what, I'm getting everyone home safe. It's kinda hard to describe without coming of as a complete nerd, but if I'm the one who is leading them into battle, it's my job to make sure they all come home in one piece with a mission accomplished. And I'll be damned if I don't do my job to a tee.
... Yeah, I take this game way too seriously

I love them both, but DA definitely had more engaging party members. As a self-proclaimed Raphael Sbarge fangirl, Alistair was most definitely better than Kaidan, and it hurts to say that but it's the truth. Make David Gaider write an ME love interest, please?

1)Already a fan of Mass Effect and totally understands and is getting ME2 (this is like..2 people?)
2)Knows of ME and is interested (another 2ish)
...3)Considers it my cocaine. Great. I'm posting so many ME Facebook link updates that they all think I've gone off the deep end lol
ANYWAY, I'm not dead set on 'bringing them back in one piece', as much as I like every single one so far. I'll treat them like I would want to treat them in Shepards place, and let things happen.
Ex. I will NOT sympathize with an angry krogan's lust for violence, as I know that one can wizen up to be like Wrex. Or, I'll remain stoic (neither give in, nor get angry at) to Jack's insults, but try to let her know she can talk to me. Third example would be with Garrus - if he's going to somehow blame me for things that happened while I was dead, he's gonna regret that.

DAO does have some characters more in depth, but I just can't stand its graphics sometimes. Like that big pie of cheese on the ground in the camp. What's that all about?? Anyway it's still a great game, but some moments will just minorly ruin the feeling.Hahaue wrote...

I think they will make some really strong characters for ME2 tho. They will touch deep down into our hearts.
