I looked them up on Google. Enserric seems interesting, but that Samehada thing is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. It reminds me of Monty Python's "fish slapping dance."

And the other one... all I found was references to the movie Gigi.

<_< Samehada was cool...

And It communicates through "GI,GI,GI" It's the sound it makes when it "talks" apparently only its Master can interpret what its actually saying though, given its just "GI,GI,GI".

Noooooooo stopppppppppppp

there's so much more to it

I suppose there is, but there is more to being a normal person then just not possessing the curse of magic either.

Chanter: "Let no mage in my sight continue to live, lest their impurity displease me. The Word is clear on this, friends. Mages are the hands of the darkspawn, here to commit Thedas to ruin!"

Mage: "You're crazy!"

Chanter: "Begone!

Yes, yes, I know ^_^

I still can't figure out why Danarius walks like a woman in act III of DA II.

Prob trying to make Fenris regret leaving him. Shimmying always helps a situation.

I seriously hope that there is a mad prophet type somewhere. Given what the story is about, it would make sense that some people would cast about and start ranting. We had two people do that in DA:O, the screaming chasind in Lothering and that guy in Redcliffe. Above all else, I hope that we can interact with such characters if they exist, because it's pretty funny when we do.

It looks like the Dragon Tooth from Dark Souls had a baby with a street shark.

I wouldn't consider what he was preaching to be mad if it was what was stated by you.

But yeah i agree bring back the doomsayers!

Seems more likely that the owner was just saying that the noise was actually communication to try to make himself seem less ridiculous for carrying around a big silly fish making gigigigigi noises.

But I wouldn't know.

I wouldn't mind having something like a random organized rally too. Like in The Legend of Korra, we had the Equalist rally in the street, with people going on about fighting against the oppression of the benders.

Hoshigaki Kisame was a seven foot shark man with gills and webbed appendages i don't he ever cared about looking ridiculous.

It wasn't like Enserric in so far as it had human intelligence but it was a sentient blade, And it obviously could communicate given it voiced displeasure and when it was pleased equally well.

I thought the Taris outdoor racist rally was a nice touch, too. Took some of the shine off of the place, made it seem more real.

I wouldn't mind if normal peoples started burn mages half job done hell it would be even realistic to peoples react that way on crissis especially veil tears that only mages or demons can cause not mentioning destruction caused by mages during mage-templar war.

That's an awful thing to say, what about innocent mages that don't summon demons are dabble in blood magic?

It would certainly add a hint of realism, the common people didn't care for mages before they started a revolt.

Only common sense you would have people using that fear and loathing and turning it towards the source of it.

I'd bet you would have crazies on the street stating the veil tear was all the work of the rogue mages and such.

Im looking on that professionally not emotionally but in reality such thing would be happen it is even said that peoples blame mages and want kill them for things they didn't caused and to be honest they had enough things they caused and harmed others to society simple burn them for that.Simple such actions in our world were taken for smaller differences.

Because the flintbangers need to give mages even more reasons to hate them.

That will end very well, I'm sure.

Considering that mages are a minority and the normal folks the majority?

It will likely as much literal witch hunts do.

Magickers burning.

Yes, and abominations and harvesters running about devouring the mundanes.

Would be a sight to see.

Pro-Templars love to talk about nukes, would be fun to see what mages can truly do if they all faced annihilation with no recourse.

What harvester is result of experiments with blood magic...

They won't become abomnations when they are dead and templars would deal with them immediately.

Its unlikely the knowledge of how to create those monsters died with Quentin and Orsino i grant you, but the average mage having it? I view very small chance of that occurring.

That said Abominations tend to meet their end on Templar blades, and the death caused by that wouldn't do the mage PR position any favors.

Each Circle would be independent of other Circles, and would be vassals of the crown. The Circles would have an establishing charter and their members, mage and templar alike, would have to take an oath. Violations of that oath, including any attempt to rule beyond the bounds of the charter, would be cause for other members of the circle to stop the transgressor, including trial and punishment. If the Circle itself were trying to establish a magocracy, then other Circles would be obliged to defend the kingdom from the threat. If all the mages of all the circles decided to take over, well... much like under the corrupt Andrastean system, there wouldn't be much anyone could do to stop the mages if they somehow all miraculously decided to work together for a common purpose.

I wouldn't handle someone like Anders. A Circle I created would be entirely voluntary, so Anders would either join of his own free will or not be in it. Not hunted. No Templars trying to lure him into a stupid, stupid trap. Of course, if Anders chose not to be part of the Circle, he would not have the Circle's protection, so whatever he did would be subject to the common law. If he were determined to be a danger to the kingdom, the Circles would be obligated to defend the kingdom from that threat.

It might come to pass that mages and templars hunted down Anders and killed him, but it would be in accordance with secular law as a result of crimes committed by Anders, not because Anders was an apostate and simply chose to exist outside of the circle system. If he just wanted to run a free clinic, he would be free to do so.

Edit: Also, while a Circle mage would be prohibited by oath from rule beyond the grant in the Circle's charter, there would be nothing to keep a non-circle mage from inheriting a title, receiving a title from the crown for service therunto, etc. That title would be held by the mage as an individual, and passed to heirs under its own terms (e.g. primogeniture, in accordance with the customs of the kingdom.)

When the answer to 'how would you prevent the rise of Tevinter' is 'not really', there's a significant failure in achieving the goals of the Andrastians. Which begs the question of why you think the Andrastians will support your system, since at least their Circle system has kept the mages from having power over them and being used as tools of royal interest in national struggles.

And when the answer to the clarified 'someone who is oppossed to your system' is 'they wouldn't be', that's just willful blindness.

As far as actually preventing the fears of the masses and Chantry from coming true, I'd have to give you an F. I can't say you even seem to pretend very hard to care about their concerns.

True indeed. But they will be there and they will be a factor, rare or not. The monsters are no longer cowering beneath their beds. The mundanes who want the mages to go away are in for very rude awakening.
