I tried to ask if it was alright to do it...Still waiting to hear back.

LOL Okay.  Send me an IM if you do get it, please.

Looks like the debate is back on.  Enough D&D, back to fighting about men in robes and men in skirts not getting even presentation in the DA story.

Or you know, something like that.

Darth Krayt lived for nearly 200 years.

And created the abomination of the One Sith.

It's a tricky alignment; too many people go way overboard and fall right into Chaotic Stupid.

It's an alignment that comes naturally to me. And boy have I been called out to be stupid about so many of my opinions even on these very forums.

Personally I think they did for the most part

I've read your posts.  I can safely say you don't seem stupid nor wasteful.  Folks can frack off if they think your opinion is stupid.  That's what I do when folks try to do that.

Trust me, the next time a poster is going from CE to CS, I'll point it out to you.  There is a huge difference.

I know.  The words "On With the Show!" had come to mind.

Thing is, I've found that you I can always understand and always empathize, no matter how ''stupid'', even if I don't agree.

It's when an alignment goes so far it becomes a detriment to any further goals and becoming an increasingly unintelligent thing to do.  For instance, I thought by the end of DA2 Meredith had gone from more or less Lawful Good straight into Lawful Stupid.

Being overly wasteful, short sided, too extreme in violence or pacifism (yep, counting Elthina here,) not thinking things through and only walking through the world with blinders on makes any alignment Stupid.

Justice IS a spirit, as is any demon, as Merril generously point out. Whatever you call them doesn't change the facts, that they seek out basically the same thing.

I'd prefer he stand by his beliefs against slavery. Was it justice or petty hate/jealousy? Everyone else in party disapproves this action, even Merril, who had suffered a lot of harsh treatment from Fenris. I'd also point out, that despite his support of the Circles, Fenris doesn't turn in Anders or Merril and even lashes out on Sebastian, when he suggests it.

When one hypocrisy occurs on fundamental belief, then the other would simply be a matter of time, which he hasn't given.

I have to say, this did make me appreciate Fenris a lot more.

Bah, boring.  Neutral Good rarely gets anything done.    You're confusing personal alignment with society preference anyhow.  I think there should be law, I just refuse to put laws above my morale code.  If a law is doing no good and harming innocents, I'll happily break the law in a heartbeat if that means getting folks to safety.  That's why I sided with most of Anders' actions (the mage underground for instance,) until..well, yeah, you can guess.

damn you Anders. :(

Neutral Good gets everything done.  Just not effectively, but with the best of intentions.  Which of course, brings us to dark places... Mwahahaha!

Something worth striving for, means you are different enough from other people that they consider you such, you are your own character and you don't care what others will say, you are true to yourself.

I just messaged a Moderator, Allan if you want details to see if it was alright.

Don't exactly know if i can just randomly open a D&D thread in the off topic.

Equality is a lie…A myth to appease the masses. Simply look around and you will see the lie for what it is! There are those with power, those with the strength and will to lead. And there are those meant to follow—those incapable of anything but servitude and a meager, worthless existence”
-Darth Bane

Not a very nice man, Darth Bane.

._.

Enchantment

Well he broke Batman's back, yep I'm calling them the same Bane :P

And he gave the city back to us, the people. A true hero

Abeloth is an overrated moderately powered nutjob sitting on a moon that dies every other time it pops up.

No, Chaotic Evil.

Just living your own life is Neutral.  Chaotic evil is actively striving to destroy social order.

Never saw the appeal of the ideology myself.

I rather like society, hence why i believe in defending it.

It's not neutral to just live your life if living your life like you want it goes against established order. Neutral acknowledges this and tries to find loopholes, while chaotic simply doesn't care. Yes chaotic evil might have an agenda like you described, but a chaotic owes no one anything and has no set goals aside from self made ones.

..Ahem, Chaotic Good isn't out to tear down society either.  We just don't have a need to defend it all the time.

A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.

Chaotic good characters believe it is the best alignment you can be because it combines a good heart with a free spirit.

Chaotic good can be a dangerous alignment when it disrupts the order of society and punishes those who do well for themselves.

You are aware of the fact, that Abeloth is immortal and one of the four most powerful forcebeings in the galaxy? Only surpassed by the father, his daughter and his son.
