How fun. Well, if it helps, I will probably execute all Blood Mages and Red Templars. With a small possibility of imprisonment instead. Maybe.

I'm with Blue.  I'd go with CN for you.   :)

Imagine how relaxed the entire situation of the Mage/Templar war would be if they had some herbs?

Not alcohol though because I imagine the radicals as angry drunks and no one wants that.

Are you suggesting they all get high and form a friendship circle?

Because i'd be down for that.

Finally!  Mage and Templar unite!   A moderate amount of booze (need some good mead for this,) no lyrium, just all in the Safety Circle. :P

The Sharingan is still better. Who beat whom when we were revived?

That's rough. I just have to deal with being preached political ideologies in my college courses... And I'm not a political science major.

Do you even have a delusion of victory had that actually been a real battle?

Revived Nagato's  Doujutsu Rinnegan techniques are even Stronger then when he was in the Six Pathes rikudou state.

._. Aka you would go down you undead Uchiha.

Yet, you were still beaten. Every jutsu has a risk.

We also need pipeweed. When will hobbits come to Thedas?

Sorry, no powders allowed.   :)

Anyhow, we should probably get back on track.   So, what would the Qunari gain by  keeping the Mage and Templar forces occupied fighting with each other?  I have my own ideas, but I'd like to hear what you guys think.

@Steel: Ah, I remember that thread.  It got really weird once someone started posting pics of unusual deep fried foods.

The Qunari would want Thedas weakened by war to make their next invasion easier. It can also convince people only the Win can reign in magic.

Though, they would want the Veil closed. The Veil Tear threatens them too.

Not overly much in the long term, given that if it is their aim to conquer Thedas, then having all the Mages free to wreak havoc through out the realm ultimately wouldn't suit them as much it wouldn't suit the Templars or Pro Circle factions.

Short term? Well it divides attention away from them for one, if allowed to linger the conflict actually could get Nations dragged into it fighting for one banner or the other and it ultimately would be quite a nice Diversion, But again i'd stress then the benefit of this would be strictly short term.

Even if they succeeded in railroading Thedas, duking it out with a Mage Insurgency through out the continent wouldn't be overly pleasant.

I definitely think that they will benefit by this or at least try to. The Qunari will more than likely view it as messy and chaotic, and with how organized they are (plus their extreme views of mages), I feel like they'll see this as a massive opportunity. Personally, I think DA2 was not the last of seeing the Qun being forced on us.

Try the elves. The Dalish are nomads and live in the forests, so they would know all about plants.
