Thrask, good man, terrible Templar.

Maybe this is why the Order is not interested in recruiting paragons of morality.

Yes. He seen mages' people such a bad templar.

They aren't interested in morality, they want Zealotry. People who think it is their divine right over mages. This from Cullen.

Thrask was a good man in a terrible story, killed by a character who is completely nonsensical if the Champion helped the Starkhaven mages escape.

Grace is not you, that means she doesn't have to act like you would have acted in the same situation.

She was angry at Hawke and used Thrask as a means of getting to the Champion. I understand that you don't want the game to make it seem like Thrask's trust of mages and his plans where the wrong thing to do but, in this occasion, they just were. Sorry.

And was Cullen ever killed by an Abomination he himself released into the city?

Not that I've noticed. Clearly, he is the better Templar.

He hates mages and would see them made tranquil if he could so I see why you like him. Also see you new pic. It suits you.

Cullen was a yes man would sat back and did nothing to improve the situation but Thrask did try. He failed but he did try.

He was certainly a good man, but obviously conflicted. I suspect in a different Circle he'd have found more receptive ears for his thoughts and concerns. And perhaps would not have feared for his daughter.

I suspect part of the tragedy is that if he had turned her in, he could have had her sent to a less oppressive Circle, claiming a wish to avoid a conflict of interest. He had obviously been in the Order a while, he might have even been able to use his seniority to send her to Val Royeaux. She'd have been in a Circle, certainly, but a more progressive one, and she wouldn't have met her end at the hands of slavers.

Being mad at Hawke for helping her, even if it means killing the templars who threaten them. I guess you think that makes sense.

Doing so however would have required Meredith's approval. I don't know if she would have allowed that.

Where the heck were the seekers in dragon age 2 anyway? I said it was probably knight commander Lord Seeker Lambert, sorry, got confused there based on how he conducts himself, actions that stonewalled investigation of kirkwalls issues, but I don;t have much proof.

So is there any in-game explanation as to why the internal affairs of the dragon age universe decided to twiddle their thumbs up their butts and do nothing while all this insanity went on over the course of a few years?

To her it did. Hawke's help didn't prevent her from being sent to the Circle and s/he did kill her lover. I can see someone might be enraged over that.

Grace is not the type of person who would thank Hawke just for trying to help them; she is the type that would berate him/her for failing. Why can't she be an ungrateful, vengeful ******?

Am I the only one around here...

That doesn't associate the name Cullen with a bad book series?  <_<

Nope. No Seekers except Cass.

I read through the damn book series, even still, I much prefer our Templar Cullen to a sparkly mess like that creature.

I don't see why she would have objected. If she was even in a position of authority when the subject came up. I'm not necessarily talking about his daughter when Hawke found her. I'm talking about when she first manifested.

True, true. I guess in the end, it doesn't matter. Both father and daughter are dead now.

She blames Hawke for killing her lover, she doesn't need any more reason.

God that quote just made me roll my eyes and shiver at the same time; Quentin was perhaps the most demented, deluded and insane non abomination blood mage i have ever had the displeasure to encounter in DA.
