**** even my elf mage can't stand the dalish.

They can take their flat eared crap and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Unfortunately, your Inquisitor will be Dalish too...

The Dalish can never catch a break. I'd be pissed too.

The city elf aren't responsible for it, and there's no reason for (some of) the dalish to treat them like crap.

While that's true the Dalish have always accepted any city elf willing to join them. I bet Velanna would have accepted them too if she was keeper of a real clan.

I won't be playing elf mages if I'm stuck with a dalish elf mage. Human female mage works just as well.

Eww all the inqs are dalish? So much for me playing elves -_- Qunari and humans it is.

True enough. Though one can understand how a Dalish can view a city elf with disdain. The Dalish Elf's ancestors maintained their identity while the City elf's ancestors capitulated to the shemlen i.e. the city elf represents everything that the Dalish have lost.

The Chantry organization presided over the Order of Templars and the Circle of Magi, with Knight-Commander Meredith being subordinate to Grand Cleric Elthina; I don't see her as a civilian.

So you are telling me you see the Chantry building in Kirkwall as a military target, equal to say the Templar's Quarters?

I know, and I specify that 'some' of the dalish treat them like crap.
I'm sure that Velanna would accept them, though i woudn't want her as a Keeper, at least pre-Awakening.

The current city elves aren't at fault for this though. They were born in this system.

I think there was no "templar quarter" to begin with. Both the Templars and the mages were from the same building. The gallows. There was no way to destroy Templar side of the building without harming the mage side too. Orsino and Meredith were nextdoors.

Of course they are not. Simply explaining why they may appear hostile to the city elves, whom as Lulupab pointed out, the Dalish gladly accept.

Agreed. Couldn't the rogue have been a CE I mean sheesh. Ah well I still have my Qunari female to play ;_; she better have horns.

Still doesn't change the fact that that section was where the Templar's quarters were. Anders was willing to sacrifice the entire Circle, so why suddenly care that a few mages get caught in the blast?

That's how I look at it now. Originally I couldn't decide between playing as an Elf or a Qunari. Now Bioware has made that choice for me.

I don't know. I was just pointing it out. He did want to commit suicide after killing mages so I think he doesn't want to be the one killing them.

That didn't stop Anders from martyring the Mages in Kirkwall anyway

I was gonna play my Qunari warrior first then my elven mage but now...I might just play a Qunari mage and call it a day. Ah well.

I'll still do my human mage first for my "fumbling" playthrough then my qunari warrior then just another qunari mage. The Qunari inq can be a mage right?

Despite I really like the fact that I can be a dalish (expecially mage. I'm waiting since DAO for this) I'm Sorry for you guys. I hope that in the next game they'll put CE as a background, even if it'd mean not having a dalish.
By the way Ryzaki, I think that it was confirmed that qunari PC can have horns. The hornless are the unconfirmed ones.

They already said you can have horns, or opt to go hornless...

Then he shouldn't have blown up the Chantry.  ;)

So you claim.

-Leliana warning Elthina to leave because the Divine might burn the whole city

-Request for annulment already sent by Meredith

-Meredith gone literally insane cause of idol

-Seekers have totally ignored Kirkwall

-Circle built on old slave building

-Elthina ignoring evidence of abuse among Templars

If you believe mages were not doomed regardless of Anders you are delusional and I have a bridge to sell you.

Thanks. Hopefully next game, though this will forever seem a missed golden opportunity considering what the City Elves are involved in at this time.
