Despite I really like the fact that I can be a dalish (expecially mage. I'm waiting since DAO for this) I'm Sorry for you guys. I hope that in the next game they'll put CE as a background, even if it'd mean not having a dalish.
By the way Ryzaki, I think that it was confirmed that qunari PC can have horns. The hornless are the unconfirmed ones.

Thanks.

I actually would've loved for an option for both. Dalish elves can be Warrior/Rogue/Mage and CE mage shares the same background as human mage (like DAO) and CE is it's own origin. Unless the human mage isn't from a circle?

Yeeesss My qunari shall have the loveliest horns <3 She's also gonna hit on anything that moves. XD

Yea, I would've rather had to option to play as a City Elf for atleast one of the classes (rogue)

I like tying the origins to classes. I'm sure it'll have it's downsides, but there can be upsides as well (writing a bit more tailored to your social origins and activities).

"So long as the Grand Cleric was alive and refused Meredith's request for the Right of Annulment, Meredith's only option was to appeal to the Divine. Once the Grand Cleric was dead, and no immediate successor in evidence, Meredith had the legal authority she needed.
This does not mean the Divine could not theoretically call her to the mat later on for choosing wrongly... and one could argue that she was morally obligated to wait for the Divine's answer, but she certainly wasn't legally obligated to do so. Beyond that, one can conjecture until the cows come home with regards to what the repercussions of such a decision would be." - David Gaider

So you claim.

-Leliana warning Elthina to leave because the Divine might burn the whole city - And?

-Request for annulment already sent by Meredith - Doesn't mean that Elthina couldn't stop her

-Meredith gone literally insane cause of idol - Which Anders push over the edge with his actions

-Seekers have totally ignored Kirkwall - True

-Circle built on old slave building - has anything to do with what?

-Elthina ignoring evidence of abuse among Templar

If you believe mages were not doomed regardless of Anders you are delusional and I have a bridge to sell you.

Only person "delusional" is the one who claims they don't defend Anders yet goes through great lengths to defend him anyway

But that still doesn't counter that Anders martyred the Circle Mages in Kirkwall

Nope. During the time between Act 2 and Act 3 she rejected the Annulment. The fact the she supposedly pet Meredith's head or that she was letting Meredith going too far with the treatment of mages is irrelevant to the Annulment discussion. She rejected it and she'd probably always rejected it.

Don't do much good when our friend Meredith had already gone over Elthina's head.

That doesn't mean Meredith couldn't illegally annul the mages. She did turn on and killed his fellow Templars you know. I fully disagree on the subject of pin the tail on the Anders. There are more things responsible and actually holding more blame than Anders as I mentioned them already. The divine threatened to burn the whole city already what makes you think she would have refused Meredith?

In regard to your bolded Answers. The divine was considering putting the whole city to torch. As if that was not enough doom for mages, Meredith has sent for annulment. Someone who wants to burn the whole city is very likely to accept the annulment if knight-commander demands it.

Anders was responsible to some degree but its just idiotic to pin all of it on him.

She would also want to know why the Knight-Commander is going over the Grand Clerics head, who she wanted to get out of Kirkwall

And nobody is pinning the whole thing on Anders, don't know why you keep assuming that when it comes to defending him

Ok. Ok. Ok.

Let's forget that the Divine was considering an exalted march and that Leliana from her very own words indicated that it's the reccomendation she was going to give, going so far as to tell little Elthina to get out of dodge. And the annulment would by far be the simpler and easier thing to do. Let's forget that Meredith ran amok for almost a decade and we the players never even get the indication that she received so much as a good talking to.

With that Red Lyrium idol magnifying her paranoia and hatred of mages, do you believe that Meredith would NOT have called that annulment regardless of her superiors? Despite the entire narrative of Act III telling you otherwise?

Then the phrase "Anders martyred mages" is completely incorrect. "Anders played a role in martyring the mages" is the right phrase.

Its not me, its you.

So?

Kirkwall was a mess.

And are we now playing thought police? She's not allowed to even CONSIDER something?

-Request for annulment already sent by Meredith

And denied IIRC. And if I'm not, still no proof it would be approved.

The request for annulment WAS NOT denied. Where do you get that from? it was "pending".

The joke is on you because Its obvious that Anders indeed played a role but the events and other people played greater roles. You don't even have stairs to your basement full of weed least of all to the moon.

She sent Leliana to deliver the message that she might put the whole city to the torch to stop "Another Tevinter". That is indeed a THREAT.
