If anybody has the actual article, I could check the translation. Just sayin'.
It'd be much more fun than reading old issues of the Vossische Zeitung for a paper, at least.

I don't think he's a Dreamer anymore, at least after what Gaider said.
It's certainly somewhat less likely now. I think when the preview hits on Wednesday (I believe it was?) it won't be long before we get a firmer grasp on whatever tidbits have been chucked to the Germans.

A novel idea, and I could be mistaken, but from what I've gathered, only tiny pieces have leaked somehow?

Why must he crush our theories and speculations....
Why must he crush our theories and speculations....
I'm telling you, Elu, he has to be gaining power from all this crushing of dreams. That's probably why he's such a great writer, feeding on the sweet innocence and happiness of his consumers

I'm very happy, David! Come, destroy me!
OK, I've officially become that fan. Aborting
Okay, I understand what you mean. I thought Lulupab was addressing why the protagonist would attend the peace conference in the leaked survey.
It's possible that's what they meant, but then that was a misunderstanding on our parts. Though the reasons why a City Elf would be there is pretty simple. The City Elf could be a servant or bodyguard for a representative there.

He certainly did mine. ![]()

Did Gaider say something after stating Solas wasn't Dorian?
Yeah, Jeff pulled it up in the speculation thread. Something about how we should wait to read the article before we make assumptions.
He certainly did mine.
I know exactly what you're talking about and I'm in the same boat with you ![]()
He must be a despair demon...
His icon is a Mage after all... it's a very plausible idea.. ![]()

I guess the article will shed some light on Solas and Iron Bull, then.
I'm excited for it. Do we know when it'll come out?
I really, really hope Solas is also Dalish so he and my f!Dalish Mage can pal around and ugh it'd be so perfect.
I'm warming up to the whole Dalish thing in general. Still depressed about my City Elves, though.

Doesn't look Dalish.
Wednesday.
Czernobog!
Doesn't look Dalish.
He kind of does to me.
He kind of does to me.
His attire seems more human in origin and design than Dalish. I discount the green simply because everything is bathed in a green light.

He seems like he could look Dalish, though he lacks tattoos. Still, I have noticed that not all the elves had the blood writing on their faces, so the possibility is still open. While I agree that his clothing look more human than elven in style, that could be the look another clan has. Maybe they are introducing a third Dalish clan in the games, finally?
And then...there is the first thing I thought of when I saw your comment.

Well, technically 4th. There's Zarathian's and Marethari's clan, but we also can meet members of the clan Velanna belonged to in a quick chat in Awakenings so that would make the next clan #4. ![]()

Ah, true. I forgot to count Zara's clan as separate.
Moving most of the conversation about Solas to the appropriate thread. ![]()
My point is, if they are willing to have a Qunari or Dalish lead, the argument that they wouldn't follow a City Elf or a Casteless Dwarf because they aren't high enough on the social ladder is ridiculous.
But they have influence. The Dalish have influence and we don't know about the Qunari so we can't judge. Same case for dwarf, Cadash family has to have influence. CE amd CD have no influence at all and they actually need to stop being from that background in order to do something important. Becoming a grey warden save the life many origins. But they had influence before becoming a warden. Whereas becoming a grey warden was the only influence CE and CD had.

You don't know that. For all we know, the CE could have been an important member of the Elven Rebellion that's occurring.
Regardless, this is offtopic so we should stop before we get warning points for doing such. You think the City Elf would have no influence and thus justifies not being involved, and I think they would have enough to warrant being an option for character creator. Instead we are stuck with no other option than being a Dalish.
