What does the timeline have to do with anything? Her and Feynriel had the same symptoms. And no, I'm not, the Circle wound up sending him to Tevinter either way so what am I missing exactly? They were both in the Circle. They both had the same caretakers, which is ultimately the First Enchanter.

 

Why do you think Tevinter would have helped him in the first place, if Hawke wasn't around to drag him back from the nightmares? Also, you can easily break his mind, if you choose some of the wrong options in dialogues in his dream, and then he begs to make him Tranquil.

But Hawke didn't do that, she didn't take him there or drag him there. If you send him to the Circle, Thrask mentions how he was transferred there and he tells you in Act II.

We know they helped from his letters/him helping that woman through her dreams.

You complete Night Terrors and once he's back they send him away, I'm assuming because they cannot help him. Hawke brought him back to the CoM, they chose to send him to Tevinter (or he could have asked) Thrask states it and so does Feynriel. So my point remains, if they allowed him to go with these problems, why not her? We just don't know enough.

Because there were no Hawke's equivalent to help Orana with demons in the first place? They sent already sane and in control mage to master his technique (though it looks like it was merely smuggling out), not cowed and half-insane girl, plagued by the nightmares.

One of Hawke's answers after tranquilizing Feynriel is - "There's a reason Chantry kills Dreamers". Maybe that's the answer you are looking for, i don't know.

You know, you have a point here. Hawke was only able to help Feynriel due to some mystic Dalish practice which the Circles would most likely not have access to or else they wouldn't need Marethari.

Dreamers rock btw. If I was a dreamer I wouldn't mind living in a circle, I would hang out in the fade all the time, where I could shape, see and do pretty much anything I wanted, everybody would just think I had a sleeping disorder. And if anybody got on my nerves they would have some very bad dreams.
