ROFL.

Anders is certainly a decent stand in for CATS

Pity he didn't through in the HaHaHa though.

Thought about it, but I don't think Anders has much of a sense of humor by that point.

:/

I agree

that SOB was a terrorist, war criminal and generally all around murderer by that point.

Posssed demon scum, Killing him shouldn't have been the mercy it was but alas the situation prevents you from really just beating him to death little lone torturing him into a self aware oblivion of just having your body slowly torn apart and crippled every day for a few months.

I completely forgot about our friendly explomaniac Dworkin. That does answer quite a few things like where Anders actually learned the formula and goes along with the Javaris quote I posted earlier about how a lyrium explosive goes, including some parts that match the explosion at the Chantry. Good job Banxey.^_^

Thanks. :) I would have forgot Dworkin too, but I recently looked up the epilogues for Awakenings looking for info on Justice.

You're welcome.
So yeah, with the evidence of Dworkin making lyrium bombs in the same fortress Anders stayed in for a few months, Javaris' explanation about lyrium bombs, and the theory that the Chantry stores the majority of it's lyrium supply not in the Circle but the Chantry itself, we have a pretty solid case as to how a bomb small enough for Anders to carry unnoticed has enough explosive power to destroy a dwarven-made giant building in a pseudo-magical way.

As for Anders, I have to say I noticed a trend planning my finale for my current DA2 playthrough. In both games, I seem to ****** off the prince character to the point of them leaving my party and taking the throne of their nation for sparing the character who had committed an atrocity.

Loghain didn't commit an atrocity, he was simply reminding the elves that they're not people and doing a tactical decision at Ostagar.

Oh, I'm not a Loghain lover. Death is too good for him. He has to spend the rest of his days redeeming himself and then he can die. Same with Anders.

Though Sebastian's threat to raze Kirkwall to the ground makes it harder, but I don't see him actually going through with that.

I am both of those things you accused LDS of being :P

And Proud of it.

For Alistair? Death is too good for him, He can morph into a fat balding drunk stinking up the hanged man for a few years :P

Hey, Alistair was the one who threw a hissy fit becaquse he couldn't get revenge. I didn't want our friendship to end. At least I had him hardened so he still agrees to be King with Anora and by Awakening the rip in the friendship seems pretty much patched.

Besides Loghain is a heck of a Warden.

Horrible waste for him to just die :(

would be a sad end for a good character.

Speaking of, I wonder if Loghain will be showing up in Inquisition. I mean, he was sent to Orlais to serve as a Warden.

It'll probably be a cameo or a dialogue mention.

That's what I'm thinking. Since he caqn die, he won't be anything super important. Maybe in a Side Quest for the Wardens or something like Nathaniel in DA2.

Like V said likely a cameo or dilogue mention but i wouldn't be surprised if he makes a few brief appearences through out the game if spared considering the presence of the Wardens in Orlais and if he was sent to Orlais he if i recall was to take up the leadership in the country.

Aka acting commander of the grey wardens of Orlais, the very order he denied entry into his country during the blight.

That's irony right there :P

But given if he survived he is in actually a leadership position he might become a minor quest giving npc.

Alternative is he could be dead, even if you made him a warden.
He joined during a blight, (Which is supposed to be worse or something), he was already a bit old when he joined and it's been 10 years or so.

What's better is he is also stuck not just living in but actually defending Orlais, the thing he hates more than anything else.

*Shrug*

I debated that logic before and even in universe evidence conflicts with the thirty year time limit given, of course as soon as it did Gaider did a flip and said Alistair was just guesstimating anyway.

Point being i don't see his calling occuring before Inquistion although i suppose bioware could force that issue if they needed to.

I wonder if simon would be okay with resuming Loghain for one more game, i bet he would.

If it meant one less plot thread to deal with, I can see them forcing the issue.

The majority of all the Lyrium is going to be used at the Circle, becase the majority of Templars are stationed there, and all the mages who uses the Lyrium are there. So OBVIOSULY most of the Lyrium is going to be stored at the Circle, and a fraction of it is going to be sent to the Chantries and other garrisons which houses Templars.

Again the concept of the use of lyrium for Templars is to give them powers AND FOR THE CHANTRY TO CONTROL THEM.... How do you do that if the majority of the drug you use them are where they live? The templars even go as far as smuggling extra with their own money when they are already getting some for free. It makes sense to place the lyrium near that kind of addict?

Some of the lyrium would be in the circle, the rest in the chantry. Just to control them.

SeaBass actually has a legitimate gripe against Anders, unlike Alistair.
