Yes, as the thread title says, how are you staving off your RPG itch until release?
I myself am going try to find the time to go through Kingdoms of Amalur, before completing my Witcher 2 playthrough.
Then tackling another for Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights 2, Fallout One/Two; as well as the Mass Effect series.
Not to mention going through DA:O & DA2 again, to get a better perspective for DA:I.
All in all, it'll be a long ride, one I hope I'll be able to finish before the game comes out.
So anyway, how about you? What exactly are your plans for riding out the drought? And how is it going at the moment?
What are you doing whilst waiting for the game?

Gonna start working on fan art for both previous games to hold me over, and I guess trying out DA:O's other origins.

Occupying myself with studies. It's too bad I have to concentrate on my dissertation when DA:I finally rolls out.

Well at this moment I'm waiting for my copy of Final fantasy lightning returns to arrive. It should be today. Otherwise I tend to write fantasy and sci-fi stories in order to satisfy my role playing itch. At times I even write the stories using abilities and general rules from the world of darkness role playing system. It helps keep the story more balanced.
I went to replay Jade Empire as well a while back but as I had it on xbox I realized I no longer have my base data and lost interest. I spent, I believe, 24 hours on the mountain with the ghosts running back and forth killing them to level my spirit monk to 31 before I felt like beating the game.

I've got so much school work to do, and games I care more about to play, that I probably won't play DA:I till this time next year, or even later.

I'd give you two a medal each for originality, but it seems you already have bricks attached to ropes.

Well my school semester just finished so I will be busy looking for another part time job and I am writing a book or trying to. Other than that my club activities will continue so that should keep me busy for a month or so till the start of next semester.

Walking listlessly through life, directionless, sustained only by the hope that someday, maybe soon, there will be another Dragon Age game
(I'm currently playing Alpha Protocol because it was cheap. Not bad, time limits on conversation choices annoy me)

Work. Drinking. Reading. Other games. Perusing through the BSN for a reason that I, myself, do not understand. Going outdoors.
Edit: Oh, and the television.

Ugh, university stuff, preparing portfolios for applications for next term, lots of reading, a couple TV shows, weddings, replaying the Fable series, probably Bungie's Destiny game later this year (assuming it isn't out too close to DAI)...
Probably satisfy my DA fix by replaying the games/reading/watching everything over the summer.
The wait for DAI is strangely not bothering me nearly as much as waiting for other games have. I guess I'm preoccupied enough that time seems to be going by fast enough - I mean, really, it's hard to believe that it has been five months since we seen that DAI footage. 2014'll roll by fast enough.

Kicking butt in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer.

Watch DAI gameinformer interviews.
Rinse repeat and mix up a bit.

A hundred and one other things, at least 50 of which highly important.
In regards to gaming, the most critical thing I'm doing is playing the other Dragon Ages for the first time.

Playing Borderlands 2 like a crazy man right now.
Will always bask in Skyrim from time to time.
Looking forward to Thief next week. Then there is Watch Dogs and Destiny over the summer.
Somewhere in between I may attempt a 2nd "Official" DAO/DA2 playthrough, although I'm dreading some aspects of both.

Been playing DAO and DA2 to create all my saves for DAI. I know that we won't even have the traditional save importing and it'll probably all be done by the keep, but I still want to do it. I've also been playing other games, but I always go back to DA.
