If we take a look at the Gold solo speedrunners leaderboard, we can discount each and every one of them for exploting a damage enhancing bug. Incindiary ammo, triple hits, objective glitching and modding. 

Which is exactly my point.

It depends on where you draw the line.

I didn't call your solo illegit, in case you didn't notice I merely sugested that any manner of things could be called illegit, if players like Caineghis wanted to start denouncing others.

The question is, where do you draw the line?

My argument is, modding your objectives for 100% pizzas, is not half as "illegitimate" as the fact that an incendiary reegar can put out 3-4 times the armour / health dps that it technically should. You might shorten your time by 5 minutes by using incendiary ammo... Or you could get as many attempts as you like to get the fastest time using your set up.

An in game glitch would also be missile glitching. Would a duo with one player missile glitching be legit? No? Then why would a duo with another player exploiting a different in game glitch, which gives the player much more armour DPS than they should have, be considered any different?

I'm trying to be devil's advocate here.

I just figured the majority of BSN would be ok with Penguin's solo. But instead they say its not legit because of incendiary glitch. 

I didn't say that. I said that if people want to determine what is and isn't legit, they have to look at all the factors before denouncing players and commending others.

This makes sense and i could agree with this.

xCal's run is illegit dat 60fps reegar stacking, too stronk.

Knocking's run is legit because 30fps, and knocking is a cool guy.

Therefore, knocking is the king of speed runs.

My reply was directed at Caineghis.

"If you want to talk legitimacy" would mean, analysing all the factors. Which as you correctly pointed out, would render any speed run which included a single hit on an atlas canopy with a piercing weapon "illegit".

Im gonna just not attempt to argue with you since i pretty much agree with 95% of the stuff u say anyways.

And i do agree knockingbrain is the king of speed runs.

Personally i would like to see a pc guy do a speed run with arc pistol.. that would be impressive even if heldarion does it.

Yea I made the mistake of switching to Windows 8 from 7U. It doesn't support origin which is y I don't play on pc anymore. so I'm switching back to 7

I accept that. His solos and videos are more impressive and praise worthy than 90% or the 'looks at muh solos gaiz!' threads posted on BSN. Definitely more impressive than this drek.

The only thing we don't agree about is pizza running.
