If you don't like the content of the thread, or find it irrelevant, perhaps it's better to leave and not participate at all.

All you're doing is dragging this thread off-topic, and I'm sure you agree that these sorts of threads should be open for discussion even if you have no interest in what's being discussed.

I'm afraid it's a matter of taste and preference on part of the character designers...and whatever hairstyle is workable in the game engine, hair can be tricky.


Top third one from the left is probably what you can expect the hairstyle in your OP to turn into. They always look a bit LEGO, imo.

I actually thought the longer hair looked pretty decent.

There is no other side to an argument about what the male romances should look like. The OP specifically says this thread is only for discussing what people would like to see in the game. If you don't have anything to contribute to that, there's no point in posting here.

Unless you have a strong preference for twinks or something, I don't know.

Based on what the OP said the only on topic sides of the argument seem to be is x guy hot or not. His intention wasn't to start a discussion on whether or not you think his desires are valid.

I don't really agree with the subject matter (in terms of it being too shallow for my taste) but turning it into an opportunity for people to air their personal views is sh*tty no matter how you slice it.

Nope, there's a side of the argument that says that they shouldn't exist at all. And it's just as vaild as you saying they should.

But deliberately storming into someone's light-hearted discussion thread, or trying to run it off the rails, is being a bit of a jerk. 

A mature and well-adjusted person, surely, would accept that they're probably not going to agree with that content and move on - not try to deliberately start an argument, *especially* when the OP said they didn't want one.

Unless you actually enjoy fighting with people in these threads, I suppose.

This.  I don't think I will ever understand why some people (especially , it appears, those who are anti-romance) get so much joy in mocking and derailing threads that they don't "agree with".  There are a ton of threads on this board that I have no interest in so I avoid them and let the people who DO care about the content enjoy their conversation.  Immature, rude, and unneccesary.
