So using Incendiary Ammo is dishonorable

The only thing I see in this game that I'd call pathetic or dishonorable is judging someones skill based on what kit or weapon/equipment they are using. I use the kits and builds that I find fun to play with and if someone doesn't like what I'm using that's really to bad for them because I don't care.

Zae,

I know we don't generally see eye-to-eye on most things, but reading that made me sad. Don't stop playing a kit you like because somebody got butthurt about score or kills. Just take it as a compliment and move on.

Jer and I were PUGing yesterday and I had my PPR GE. An old school TSol dropped in with a Phaeston and made a comment over the mic about I should leave something for him to kill (I wasn't even really tryharding, either; I was playing relaxed). No, dude. Sorry. Kill faster. If I'm picking you up when you fall, popping a healing turret at your feet when I hear your Turian yell about shields being down, and making sure you get Wave 10 credits, then you should not be commenting on whether or not I am meeting your definition of being sporting or whatever.

Again, just my two cents. Play what you want to play. If someone has a problem with it, they can find another lobby after the match is over. *shrugs*

Phaeston TSol player unable to keep up with PPR GE is bad and should feel bad.

It was kinda funny because he prefaced the game by saying, "Forgive me, I'm drunk."

And I laughed because I was, too. Image IPB

But leeching is the cheapest tactic of them all

No, I mean dead IRL. Unless you can play from beyond the grave, then you are a scrub.

It's a slightly modified version of what Javik says ingame. :3

Slightly modified in an extremely eloquent fashion.

I like incendiary ammo, particularly on my BatSol and KroSol, but don't use it on characters with warp and I rarely use the Reegar.  I've also started speccing incinerate to do more damage to chilled or frozen targets in order to give me a use for all my cryo ammo. Is that ok?

Like there is no cheeze with inferno nades <_<

You make it sound as if I don't know that.  My point is that I have no problem whatsoever using incendiary ammo with inferno grenades, as I regard it as common sense, playing the game the way it was intended.  Call it cheese if you want, and gimp yourself if it makes you feel better.  The other things are glitches, which I avoid.

Honestly, adding fire to the fire (IA+nades) makes much less common sense that incineration of the warped target.

I don't feel myself gimped without it like at all, cuz I don't use incendiary nades. Both kits are a bad weapon specialists and have nothing outstanding for them sans tankiness and broken grenades.

This game is really easy, stupidly easy.. it might seriously be one of the least challenging games I've ever played, and I've been gaming since before the original Nintendo.

That would only make sense if you've barely played any games at all since the original Nintendo, especially from the last 2 generations.

I mean, really. This game isn't even close to making any sort of 'easiest games ever' list. It's not even in the ballpark. It's not even in the state that has the city that has the street with the ballpark in it.

And most games will seem pretty darn easy once you've blown a thousand hours on it.

Now there's a combo I haven't actually used in a while. Might use it to ****** a few people off a little later.  I wonder if ol' Meg will be on later for some reegar snapcheese action.

Reegar incendiary cheese is wasted on this easy game. I should use it to win at flappy bird.

There can never be enough fire, from my personal perspective, as I play for fun.  I've clocked 1398 waves with the BatSol, in reality I've probably done a few hundred more, and I would consider him outstanding solely on the basis that he is incredibly fun to play, no matter what build I go with.  Equally, the Krogan is outstanding just because he's a Krogan.  Weapons specialists tend to bore the ****** off me.

To each his own. LolNoAim kits (like Batsoldier) bore me to death for example.

I believe what he said was, "Man, you are killing everything with that PPR! Everything!"

He did decry being in last place at the end, and left after that game, specifically citing his performance. :innocent:

I mentioned a couple of reasons why not to assume he was doing badly, but I don't think he was used to running into knowledgable players very often.

I think that was the game that carried on my curse - if I pick a BW DAI with Adrenaline III for my first game, I will get Glacier.

I have no problem with you using it, do what is fun for you, but don't lie to yourself and pretend that it isn't abusing the same glitch, it is.

I like using the Striker as a cheese applicator on Platinum. :3

If cheese can be applied, you should do so.

Anyone that says they don't use cheese is a liar.

The only kit I have that intentionally cheeses is my new striker BatSol, and I don't feel guilty in the slightest about cheesing with a striker, as the extra damage from the cheese compensates for the lousy DPS that the striker has.

If bioware buffed the striker to actually do decent damage and fixed the incendiary glitch, he'd still perform roughly the same, so its more or less fair IMO.

My KroSol uses incendiary ammo for FE's detonated by carnage, which prevents the cheese from stacking, and my TurSent uses it for FE's like Dragonracer's does too.

I'm thinking of adding cheese to my SalEng too, to compensate for his nerfed decoy.

True that, it is far harder to avoid using any cheese in me3 mp than it is to abuse it.

It's only the exact same glitch mathematically, not thematically.  BatSols should use Incendiary Ammo, and not feel embarrassed about it. But I do stand corrected in being wrong not to acknowledge it as a glitch in my earlier post.  It undoubtedly is.

That's beautiful.

Though it is relatively easy, sometimes ME3MP can become nintendo-hard (geth-jade-devices, thunderdome wave 6 devices, ghost/hydra pit of doom hack, rio lolescorts, and the whole 11 waves on the arena of cancer), especially when soloing.

When have you ever seen me glitch? I literally have 100+ incendiary 4 because I can't use them on basically any engineers and always prefer ap rounds.

I don't think people consider Incendiary Ammo "dishonorable."  Far from it.  A lot of people think using the Incendiary glitch is dishonorable. Although it always seems strange to me that exploiting double or triple hit glitches doesn't get the same level of hate.
