So using Incendiary Ammo is dishonorable

The one kit I would theoretically use it on the most is the Human Sentinel, with whom I always equip Incendiary rounds. I carry the Acolyte and Hurricane, but virtually never use the Hurricane. I switch to it for armoured opponents, but it's only worth it on Banshees, Atlases, Primes and Praetorians. With something like a Brute, I'll finish it faster with Biotic Explosions than I will with the Hurricane and Incendiary.
Even with big bosses, sometimes I won't bother switching to the Hurricane, because the Acolyte + BEs are only a few seconds slower than the Hurricane Warp + BEs are, on average, anyway. It depends on how many teammates are attacking the same target. If more than one is, the incindiary glitch isn't going to speed it up enough to make it worth waiting for the gun switching animation.
Of course, the kit is built around Throw and BEs, rather than using the ammo with the Hurricane (ie no weapon passives) so the Hurricane isn't performing under ideal conditions, anyway.
Most of the other kits I use either use a different ammo type, or they combine incendiary with weapons and powers that don't really exploit the glitch.

Like incendiary reeger/PPR do not have a piercing mods or incendiary ammo disables the triple-hits somehow....Miniditka77 wrote...
I don't think people consider Incendiary Ammo "dishonorable." Far from it. A lot of people think using the Incendiary glitch is dishonorable. Although it always seems strange to me that exploiting double or triple hit glitches doesn't get the same level of hate.
There is a thing: double/triple hits require at least some aiming, while lolwarpshootwhereryoucan doesn't. Though I agree that double hits are also unintentional glitches, there is some satisfying feeling when you oneclipped the Crab/Atlas with AP PPR/Broophoon/whatever else by consistently shooting at the weak spot. Not so much with cheese I don't care if someone uses it though.
The only occasions when I do care somewhat about incendiary cheese is when someone tries to argue that some kit is powerfull (like "offensive juggernout") when it is really the incendiary ammo PPR/reeger do the job.

It is a good point, maybe because it is harder to avoid double hitting things and/or every kit can do it so it doesn't imbalance one kit compared to another?

If cheese can be applied, you should do so.
Anyone that says they don't use cheese is a liar.
When have you ever seen me glitch? I literally have 100+ incendiary 4 because I can't use them on basically any engineers and always prefer ap rounds.
You say that like I monitor what my friends are doing at all times in game.

Also, as I have stated, incendiary glitching doesn't preclude from using triple hits... And with some guns (executioner, crusader jav, bw) one can even fully benefit from double hitted incendiary glitch. With others - damage penalty on penetration of the mods still can't suprass the power of cheese.rlucht wrote...

I'm ok with Destroyer one-clipping the crab with teh lazor/brophoon, but when poorly weapon trained batarian scum can do the same with EVERY boss without even speccing into weapon passives it's a bit... dissapointing.

Well I will never intentionally use the glitch, you can ask anyone I play with.

Sums it up perfectly.
The stupidly powerful buggy combo of the reegar + incendiary, before you even take into account fire DoTs, renders titans like the destroyer brophoon or the GI raider pointless.

@harcore salmon... cut ur bull. U made a plat solo with GT Flamer. Flamer BY ITSELF is cheese.
I've done like 25+ solos and you're gonna call me out for using flamer in some of them. I also did a geth london platinum solo with a melee less warlord with the spitfire, yeah I just love using op combos and never try to challenge myself.

Not trying to offend you in any way, you did a good job with your solos.
But please, don't say that lollord with a spitfire vs geth (even plat) is a very challenging thing.

Wasn't that solo like 2 hours long?

That's because it's PC Reegar, and PC is easy mode.

so you're saying that you could do it then? I await your video.
Meh, why should I bother? Krolord bores me to death. I think I can pull it though, Sptifire tears the geth and Krolord gives a few ****s about stagger, banshees and (to lesser extent) phantoms will be a problem though.
I've soloed plat with my TSent and his PPR, after an upgrade I've repeated the same solo at 120fps (failed to extract). It was more than enough for me.
If I have some free time I actually might give it a try, maybe at the weekend (if I'm off-site). The last thing I want to do post-call is soloing the most boring faction with the most boring kit-weapon combo to prove something to you. Especially given that you hadn't provided me with your superior anti-geth tactics...

I have done some testing (out of pure curiosity) recently. 30FPS reetard crutchbine (AP ammo 4) has a TTK for atlas similar to that of PPR
With incendiary ammo (even without warp/incinerate/inf nades) it's TTK for bosses on any kit is better than that of PPR or broophoon on a weapon specialists. It's already kinda too much for the gun that doesn't require you to aim and kills mooks in a mater of deciseconds, even on-host phantoms are lol with it.
So please, don't start "console-reeger-is-balanced" nonsense.

That is my favorite excuse ever. Someone says something is easy and then when someone calls them out on their shit, they say that it bores them so why would they bother. Genius.
Have you read my post? I've said that I might give it a try. If I feel like it.
I wouldn't bother to try that solo to prove something to you personally though, I haven't seen your solos or anything, all I've seen from you is a ****talking actually.
