 In the past i paired Morrigan with the Noble Dwarf and Mage. Leliana was paired with Elf and Human noble.

I have a new cocky Human Noble that usually follows the path of good but thinks the Chantry is fool of hypocrites and the mage temple thing is not working. He has
high approval with all team members but thinks Wynne is a misguided mage that
should never be in charge of all the mages. To think she is okay with temples
taking a mage’s child away or telling mages they can’t get married. That is
total bull.

Who should I pair him up with? Give me your thoughts.

Morrigan: Morrigan is very anti-Chantry, pro-mage. I'm going to assume your Noble wasn't in favour of wiping out the whole Circle simply to teach them a lesson ala Morrigan, but that's something to bond over. She's kinda evil incarnate, though, at least when it comes to choices.

Leliana: Clearly good-aligned, so hoorah there. More pro-Chantry than the Divine, though.

So, with that considered, I'd go witih Zevran, simply because, you know, hey. Who can resist those charms?

I get your point. The two females do seem so polarized. You are correct I didn't kill the mages.

I always romance Morrigan, because I find Leliana a tad bit annoying and awkward at times. My male Human Noble characters are normally open minded; cocky/confident; pro mages; believes in equality/freedom for all; believes in the Maker, but not in the Chantry's ways, and allows Morrigan to alter his views a bit, while the same time, he softens her up a bit (as far as the love situation goes). Your character sounds like he resembles mine in ways, so I'd go with Morrigan, definitely. I don't believe she is a bad person, because she obviously cares for the Warden if you treat her the right way, but she's mysterious in ways, a survivor, and I like that. Leliana seems stubborn in her beliefs and close minded, so I rarely romance her, especially when I pay as a Dalish elf. Now, if Isabela were a companion and not just a one time hook up in DA:O... Ah, but that'll get me off topic.

In my opinion...with the Human Noble origin...Leliana is the storylines main love-interest.

 

I also think there is a mutual attraction between the Human Noble and Morrigan that also add to the story...where it's kind of a, if Leliana never came along, they would have ended up together sort of deal. I think that really adds to the ritual situation at the end...and also adds more to the Witch Hunt expansion.

 

Anyways the choice is ultimately yours...but I have always viewed this game as a movie...where the human noble is the main character...and that's how it always plays out.

I just played it as you suggested. Leliana love interest. When Morrigan asked if there could be anything between them Morrigan/Warden, I said if circumstances were different. So Morrigan knows that there is another but if Leliana wasn't there they could have been together. I had Morrigan and Leliana at 100% approval. Morrigan as a friend and a harden Leliana as a lover.

Morrigan is pretty awesome. She's my second favorite character out of the Dragon Age series. She's a beautiful, strong, independent woman who has a no B.S. policy. I can't wait to see her in DA:I. Leliana can get annoying when I'm just trying to build a decent friendship with her, but somehow assumes we're together, so then I have to break it off with her before Morrigan catches wind of it, and Leliana acts so heart broken. Same exact thing with Zevran; I have to tell him to slow it down every playthrough. Haha

I know what you mean. You have to be careful with her. I always double check Wiki Leliana/approval to make sure I don't trigger a romance line with her.

Actually, the way it happened with my (main) Warden is I got with Morrigan first. Then she was the one that dumped me. So a few weeks, or months later (at least in my head), he started to find comfort in Leliana. So they got together. He'll never stop loving Morrigan though.

So to answer the topic question, go for Morrigan. She's amazing.

(Ahem, users above) On a side note, it is a very clear moment when Leliana starts hitting on you and it's a very clear response to reject her advances. In a nice way, of course. "I'm sorry, I think you have the wrong idea." Something along those lines.

I knew there were rejection responses, but I've always tried being really nice, which was probably the problem. But, I did use one of those rejection responses the other day and she played it off like she had no idea what I was talking about. Haha

It's the other way around...Morrigan is the equivalent of Liara.

 

Though I guess if you're simply comparing their personality...then yeah...Morrigan is more of a Miranda and Leliana is more of a Liara.
