I've recently been watching Arrow and I've been quite impressed by it. I've never been particularly interested in the Green Arrow (then again, I've never even read the DC comicbooks). The first time I've ever seen the Green Arrow on TV was on some Justice League Unlimited episode. Speaking of which, I do remember one particular instance where the Green Arrow calls Superman out on disbanding the Justice League... after just saving the planet. Yeah. 

It's also the show that has Manu Bennett as Slade.   If none of you have watched Spartacus, I suggest you get to it.

I love the way it incorporates elements from the DC universe into it. Its practically a template for how future DC universe tv shows and Marvel universe tv shows should do it.

Thanks to Arrow, my interest in the DC universe has been rekindled. I'm already at episode 6 of the second season and I've only started watching this series a couple of days ago.

^ If they follow the normal story then Oliver will hook up with the Black Canary, which in this universe is Sara Lance. Which looks like it's already happening and is bad news for Felicity.

It has a pretty good cast all around though.

The Flash will be getting his own show and therefore his own LI (probably Iris West...just confirmed that role has been cast). So Felicity's love life is anyone's guess, unless she ends up being Barry's bit on the side when he visits Star City for the occasional crossover.

I love it! One of my favorite shows. Wish Laurel had died instead of Tommy though... Can't wait to see more and I am looking forward to The Flash TV show.

Don't get me wrong, I like Felicity. Out of all the women on this show she has the best personality and the most chemistry with Oliver ( not to mention she is hot ) but it is a well known fact that Oliver ends up with Dinah ( Laurel ) Lance, aka the Black Canary. Granted there is no law that says that this show has to follow the comic exactly but I'm a big believer in continuity and it would be too wierd for me if Olicty happened. I also think Oliver has slept with enough women for now, it would cheapen all his relationships if he slept with every woman he comes into contact with ( Laurel, Sarah, Helena, Detective Mckenna, Shado and Isabel Rochev ), to me it is very important to me that his relationship with Felicity remains platonic. I also think 'shipping' is ruining television, to many people concentrating on who dating/sleeping with whom and not enough concentrating on character development and good story arcs. Fortunatly the production team behind Arrow is very strong and this show so far has no real weaknesses but I would hate for them to lose focus on what makes this show great.

Just to be clear, I have no idea who the Suicide Squad are as I've never read a DC Comicbook in my life. Nevertheless, I'll be glad seeing Deadshot and Diggle working together again.

Except that in the show the Black Canary is Sara.

I tried watching Season 1, as I really liked Green Arrow from Justice League Unlimited and his short movie. The first couple of episodes didn't impress me, and I stopped watching. I got back for a few episodes in the middle of the season when Crixus joined as Slade, but stopped again until the last 4 episodes or so.

I have watched all of S2 so far, and I enjoy it quie a lot. I'm slowly warming up to Amell's Oliver Queen, although he is still far from my favourite character on the show. Favourites would be Diggle, Felicity, Slade and Sara. Then Ollie and Roy. I like Detective Lance better than in S1, and I just don't care for Laurel. She had some moments, but overall I hope they keep Sara as Canary. Mother and sister Queen... are there.

I hope Sara's the only Canary of the series since it's version of Laurel is just... ugh. I can understand her still being mad at her sister for banging Oliver, but blaming Sara for her poor life choices when she became an addict of her own choosing, and in response to Tommy's death instead is pathetic.

Thea's similarly annoying too, in that "it's all about me" vibe she gives off.
