No she isn't. She's not called it and apparently the creators have said that Laurel will eventually become the Black Canary. I don't see how though.

That would be the expected route. In the show Sara wears the outfit, she uses a sonic weapon, her league name is Canary. But I'm not a writer, so what do I know. As a guess star I expect she will be killed off, and Laura will wear her outfit and take her name as a legacy. They'd better give her a sonic scream (and a helluva lot of martial arts lessons).

Poor Felicity, shes so adorkable..Perhaps this is hinting Felicity X Ollie DOES = OTP. Or you know, she follows the comics and becomes Firestorm's mom.
 
I loved the last episode. And the ENDING.

On a sidenote, its impressive how well the show handles the source material. They've managed to ease in things like Superpowers and the corney names like "Clock King" without it being too hamtastic.

I doubt it, I think they've played that out. Oliver needs to show off his badassery a bit more though. He's been getting clocked quite a bit this season to let the newcomers get some spotlight.

I'm going to discuss spoilers for Season 2. Spoiler tag enabled.

Okay, let me start by saying the whole Slade-Shado-Oliver-Sara drama is ridiculous. First, there was never any indication that Shado had any feelings for Slade other than simply being friendly to him. Certainly there were none of the romantic flags she raised with Oliver. Slade himself chastised Oliver for pursuing a relationship with Shado. Having cleared this, why has Slade all of a sudden fallen in love with Shado?

 

Then we have another pivotal element: Oliver's choice. Let's be honest here, Oliver didn't make any choice. Ivo chose to murder Shado over Sara, period. Contrary to what Ivo said on last night's episode, he was the one who made the decision, not Oliver. Ivo's simply using Oliver's misplaced guilt to turn Slade against him. Slade should've realized then (if he had any mental power left after the Mirakuru) that Oliver was never responsible for Shado's death no matter how he felt about it.

 

And thus we've reduced Season 2's entire plot to a ridiculous misunderstanding between two friends that originated after one of them created an imaginary relationship with a woman who was actually interested in the other guy. I know it's the CW and all but, please, try to make the story more believable the next time around, particularly when it's the genesis for all that comes after.

The drug either warps you mentally or physically. If Red Arrow continues on his usual trajectory, I think the drug will also be responsible for that in this universe.

Wow I never saw it like that. The Roy in the comics had a drug problem and lost it all to that. It looks like this might be how they carry that over in the tv show! Brilliant! Btw Slade's eye. Or lack thereof. I didnt need to see it...

I couldn't help noticing there is now an Arrow thread! 

 

I am a recent convert to Arrow, having watched season one over 2 week period earlier this year and I've got to say it really hooked me in.  I have now gradually caught up with Season 2.

 

My favourite characters are Felicity, Diggle and Slade.  I was a fan of Oliver, but lately he is just annoying me (the toxic Lance triangle really irked me a lot, to the point I found him a bit selfish and it dented my liking of Sara a bit too). 

 

 

Looking forward to the Suicide Squad though
