One of the scariest, and most shocking things I ever learned about biology: Women's bodies release a hormone during childbirth, that is essentially a natural roofie. It doesn't stop the pain of childbirth, it diminishes the brain's ability to create memories.

Women literally forget how painful childbirth is after it's over... if they didn't, I'm not sure the human species would exist! 

(Note: They remember that it is painful, but they usually don't accurately remember how much.)

You refer to Oxytocin- and I find it hilarious that some companies are trying to sell it as a love potion. Since almost all hormones (if not all, I'm sure a scientist could confirm this) have multiple functions and scientists don't even know all of them I find it super funny that someone would just buy it up and start spraying it all over themselves for that loving feeling when it has the side effect of fading your memory.

Unless you make sure to only ever have sex in a bedroom and you close and lock the door. But what's the fun in that.

Isn't there a risk in both cases that the other party might want to join in?

I wonder how scientists know this. I mean do hampsters say "hey honey isn't it time we had baby hampsters!". It's surely a biological urge- but I'd think that well- I guess I can only think of this in terms of philosophical pov's.

Nah. If they wanted to actually participate, they shouldn't have gone and let themselves go into spectator mode. It's their own fault, really. I mean, there's an item in this game specifically made to get you back up right after you go down - use it!

I too have observed this behaviour. PUGs seem to go down at a drop of hat, but rarely get themselves up after that.

Well, they need to knock it off because all that steamy office love is causing bumped wires, which is directly what I blame rainbow banners on.

I would say this is at least a preferable path to end up on rather than the 8,000th rendition of the same old tired Thunderdome challenges, clique fights, and cheating accusations, which are the more common thread derailment paths these days.
