A big bonus is the removal of gay scenes, which were easy to avoid in 1 but just really upset me that they were an option for children playing and being influenced by the game.

Multiplayer includes all the planetary minigames (Quarian Sharking, Prothean Sudoku, Smear the Hanar, and Volus Bowling), a split-screen "catch-the-collector" mode, and online head-to-head battles or 4v4.

Had I actually clicked the link and read the review I may have gotten that it was a "joke" but reading the overview I didnt get to the "Volus Bowling" part. That alone makes it obvious that the review is a fake heh

If you got further than "Tacked on multiplayer" without realizing this was satire, you should feel deep burning shame right now.  Something akin to jock itch for the soul.

Learn from it, and be a little more skeptical when you read things in the future to avoid such pain.

Another big drawback from Mass Effect 1 is that Mass Effect 2 has way more talking.

Ha, but seriously, it was a big drag and even skipping through the dialog is bad because you can say stuff that gets your character killed. You really have to pay attention.

And let's be honest, nobody comes to games like this looking for a story. If we wanted a story we'd read Where the Red Fern Grows, not play it in space!

I think the Star Wars tie-in is supposed to suggest that Mass Effect was, in effect, KoTOR remade to get out of paying royalties to LucasArts. Or is that obvious to everyone? lol

edit: btw I liked how Alenko's voice was done by the same guy who did Carth Onasi's voice in KoTOR
