I use those weak ass tech bursts with weakass concussive shot with the weakass Scimitar while I scurry from ammo box to ammo box in absolute terror.

Lies! I've run the argus with you at least once but that was months ago. Between ReaperRed and some other friends I've seen every weapon in lobbies though its been quite some time for a few of those.

I never see the Hornet. I used to use that weapon often, then I got a few other SMGs in its place.

I heard Reefa used it recently but he doesn't count because PC.

That's about it
Anything else is pretty rare

I rarely see the Acolyte despite all the worship it gets on BSN or the Reegar on anything other than AIU's.

I pug Gold all the time and regulary use:

Harrier
Hurricane
Typhoon
BW
Incisor
Viper
Eagle
Talon
Executioner
Scorpian
Pirhana
Crusader
Wraith
Scimiter (I kid you not!) - on my melee build Shadow.
and the Reegar on my cheese godess the AIU 

Not sure what planet you're on. Palaven maybe?

Claymoar is my go to weapon for my GI and my QI.

Not surprised to see the Argus getting a lot of mentions, although it is my Destroyers current weapon of choice. I also use the Viper and Revenant fairly often, but never see them on PUGS.

I think I have only seen the CAR used once in all my time playing, and that was by a friend being lore abiding on his ACA

CAR probably is in fact one of the least used weapons.
