You take cover behind the ship's wing, narrowly avoiding getting healthgated by an Atlas barrage. Five seconds. You take aim at the Phantom hiding behind the crate... but your weapon doesn't fire. You try again. Nothing. Why is that Nemesis moonwalking over the LZ? Oh no.

It's gotten to us all. What's your best worst EA disconnect story?

Mine has to be my first attempt at a platinum solo a number of months back. Asari Valkyrie, White/Geth. Got to wave 10, still had 4 gel, thought I was in good shape. Chasing down the last Rocket Trooper or whatever it was after an escort, see the orange square pop up... then another pop up. I ragequit the game for about a week.

Or, the recent 'lolpeaestree in a nutshell moment', hazard ghost/cerberus with FatherofPearl. Disconnect, hard freeze on load screen, reset, hard freeze at XMB, reset, get to multiplayer, disconnect, hard freeze.

there's a lot but the one that sticks in my head was at hydra, 5 seconds til extraction and then suddenly "you have lost connection to the server."

ea servers sure know how to troll players.

Wave 10 disconnects on my platinum solo attempts a while back. Twice in a row. Never tried again.

The first 2 months after release I probably only got credits from half of my games because I would get disconnected. It was so bad one Saturday that I got credits from 2 games in 6 hrs. I almost quit ME3 that day.

Last night, was running Collector Adept with a team consisting of a Ghost, Geth Trooper, and Valkyrie. We were kicking ass on Firebase Giant. Nothing could stop us. We turned Geth after geth into pools of chemicals and piles of scrap metal.

And then we got Disconnected from the Mass Effect Server on wave 11, and I said several things that the censoring script here on the boards will not let me repeat about the parentage of the operators of the servers ME3 uses.

It was the second Gold solo I needed for BotB, and it would have unlocked all 6 of my remaning BotB challenges in one game. 6 rockets, 5 medigel, 6 T-Clips, and 2 Ops Packs in Wave 7, when...

Others have had it worse, that's my worst one, though.

This may not be the best(worst) story but yesterday I quick searched 3 times each time it started to load up and then i got the you have lost connection to the game message. Then i got a message from i suppose whoever was hosting... must have kept trying to connect me to the same lobby.

Rageing at me about how much he hated me and to quit joining his games...lol i'm pretty sure it was a BSN lurker... but not sure. I just know i've seen the username b4. Twas pretty funny though

I can't join EA server for 3 days, server not available for me eveytime i want play. The worse is my friend want play ME3 for last time with me before he move to PS4. So we waiting for 3 day until finally server available for me lol. This happens 1 week ago.

I still don't have a Platinum solo to my credit, but I was on wave 9 Thunderdome with 4 gels and all my rockets left only to get disconnected with only a Phantom left.

The rage was so raw, all I could do was turn off the console. If my xbox was a living creature I would've scared it to death with my stare.

Mine is more of an origin story. After many attempts I actually get as far as wave 10 on a gold solo. 1 missile left, its targets. So 2nd target i have to fight. It's a prime and there's several pyros and mooks also in the mix. I'm in the middle novaguarding them when my game minimizes. WTF! A friend had messaged me & origin decided it took precedence over all else. Got the game back up & luckily I was only dead, hadnt been stomped yet. Also luckily was actually able to get back up. It went on to be my 1st successful gold solo. **** origin

for ea disconnects i've been disconnected after the timer hit zero but before the mission successful screen.

A few days ago, I celebrated my 2000th game with a leisurely Gold match against the geth on White. Using the Destroyer against them always feels like sweet revenge for all their stagger-based shenanigans. We got a full extraction with a pretty even point split among the top three players. Smooth as silk. Then, when I went to cash my chips, I disconnected from the server AS my Arsenal Pack was downloading. Then I got the "Mass Effect servers unavailable at this time" screen. Really rained on my parade.
