GI's proxy also gets 20% debuff... and proxy staggers enemies anyway, so you can create headshots nearly as well with the GI. And even if you can't line them up in the reduced stun time, you can proxy/shoot/shoot with the GI in the time it takes to ED/shoot with the SI. Anything the SI can one shot, the GI can one shot, as the GI does more damage assuming you're using the same weapon/mods/ammo. ED is nice, but the GI doesn't need it, three shots is three dead mooks, and it does it in one cloak cycle as opposed to the two that it takes the SI. You can't ED AND proxy in one cloak cycle with the SI, you have to pick one or the other. Against bosses, the GI is again more useful with the fire rate bonus helping it shred everything under cloak.

GI has better raw damage than SI, I accept that, but I was talking about DPS in the long run.
When "shield gate" comes to mind, GI's raw damage doesn't matter. Unless you use Javelin X? I'm not sure, but I prefer BW than Javelin.
Against bosses, GI will kill them faster but the difference isn't that much. SI BW X can still kill them fast.
Asari Inf is a better boss killer (especially banshees), though.

nowdays, my teammates die often on console. that's another reason why I prefer SI over GI. I just drain shield, cloak and revive. SI is also better than GI if you're the last man standing.

which is shared by GI. Since HM gives you extra damage I can't see the argument how SI's PM is better than GI's. You said makes BW X a little bit stronger. Than whos? Certainly not GI's because GI has better passive, and a stronger (albeit slightly) PM.

Also, make up your mind. If you go PM you can't ED, and vice versa.

exactly, so why bother using GI? SI can kill a brute in 3 shots from proxy... that's good enough for me.
unless you are a good player, GI isn't good. Bad survivabiliy leads to failures.

due to PS3's crappy fps, phantom can get warped and not pull a bubble.

the logic is pretty easy to understand. I obviously know that GI is better, but I haven't seen any decent GI sniper.... because I outscore them easily... So I used my brain to think why. Well, there you go. I need to play with a GI player that has the same sniping skillz as me. If he/she outscores me, I'll change my mind regarding the GI.

I can solo platinum with him. I use the Geth Plasma Shotgun and run with a 5/6/6/6/3. He is very, very effective.

OT: I play him mainly as a sniper, and because he has ED-stagger I like to use the Kishok for some lulz when mooks (especially phantoms) fly from the map. Either simply skip fitness as you won't be near enemies anyway, or put 5 points into PM and 3 into fitness. Other good weapon choices for this setup are of course BW and Javelin, on Gold also the Widow (or even the Mantis, depending on you Manifest).

Voodud, I'm genuinely curious. How the heck do you hack a PS3 for infinite creds? I thought that was a PC mustard race thing. Also... I thought only post-Reckoning characters could get the 5x6 treatment.
