Woah...what the heck is happening here?

Voodud, I'm genuinely curious. How the heck do you hack a PS3 for infinite creds? I thought that was a PC mustard race thing. Also... I thought only post-Reckoning characters could get the 5x6 treatment.

I may not approve of your methods or respect your GI vs SI logic, but I bow to your 1337 hacking skillz.

I would imagine that it's similar to modifying save files. Get a program that can convert PS3 files to ones that can be used by Windows (read:  Xbox format), then decompile the Xbox file and edit the coalesced. Then just reverse the process. It's probably more complicated than that, though.

The available skill points are a variable you can edit in the coalesced file, simply increase it by 21 and voila, 5x6 all the things.

Does someone who "doesn't care" take the time to promote and reset all their characters after a talk about 6/6/6/6/6?

^ Is that directed at me? Had a feeling that might happen if I asked. Sigh.

I promoted everything last night because I'm stupid enough to try to do N7 a second time even though it's pain in the ass. Part of my quest for Cool Points.  If I was trying to hide something, I'd just set my profile to private. Feel free to check back in a couple days if you're keeping score...they'll all be back to lvl 20 with proper specs.

Not saying I've never run a 6/6/6/6/6. Like many, I did it to see what it was all about, but that was quite some time ago. Frankly, most kits don't get all that much benefit from it.

Get your pitchforks.

My bad.

Is that his actual account name?  "Voodud" turns up nothing.  Got a link?

I love my SI build for platinum. It's a good kit for fast gameplay and surviving.

infiltrators don't need much fitness, especially with energy drain specced for 40% DR. Everything else the same as GI pretty much

SI is a top 3 infiltrator. As far as sniping goes he is very close to the GI. I skip energy drain and max out proxy mine. I run him with a Javelin X and adrenaline |||. Against Cerberus his TTK is Identical to GI. Cloak + Proxy Mine is about as OP as it gets. GI's main advantage in my eyes is I can use assault load out or armored compartments in a solo without sacrificing wall hax.

SI is the better 1 shot sniper of the two
For the rest GI > SI

As for build, i use a no fitness build or a 65663 build for every weapon ( switch tac sniper damage to bonus power just because...)

you don't need fitness when you have ED for re-gaining shields...
He's way better than GI, instant debuff from proxy = g0dlike damage from BW X
using ED to regain shield means you will create more DPS than an GI.

also, GI is a boring class. In my eyes, it takes no skill. unless you use javelin X with it

and befoe you say "no skill", 99% of the time when I play on plat, I always play my Human Female adept.

It really depends on what faction you're fighting. But on Platinum, it's best to keep three points on Fitness just so you take slighty more damage. Energy drain's pretty tanky on Geth sicne you can drain at ease, but that doesn't stop the enemy from killing you when Shield gate is still under cooldown. I was just playin' him today. Got dropped into a random Platinum Lobby with no consumables equipped, but I managed to stay top on leaderboards till Wave 11, 'cause I was tryin' to survive with only one gel left. Ghost Hazard with Collectors on peasetree is just horrendous.

I find stun locking everything within a 4.5 meter radius and dealing out 1000 + points of damage to that area vastly superior to energy drain.  In terms of damage and survival.

After a couple of Plat matches last night, I have come to the conclusion that I should probably drop the sniper rifle and go with something like the Venom Shotgun again. My rightwrist is still in a terrible condition following an accident, that I can't seem to consistently land headshots anymore. On large enemies, I manage - but on Phantoms and other agile enemies, I usually miss as I can't reliably "track" them now. So, I will respec and go with a 46664 kinda build for the time being. Worked great on other infiltrators.

66660. I don't need fitness on him (even) on platinum. On platinum that rank 3 fitness doesn't matter at all. 500/600 or 625/750 health/shield. Shield gate management and ED take care my SI. And Black Widow.

True, rank 6 PM also doesn't matter much... however it's 200 plus damage in 4.5 m radius.

One of the easiest kits for The Lord Claymore because of the Energy Drain.

Wat!? That was only true before they introduced phasic ammo and changed the shieldgate, which means something like a year and a half ago. Ever since then GI has been a better one-shot sniper, as well as a better everything else.

2. Noob-friendly
3. Salarian
What can be worse?

Lol at "sniping" with SI, lol at comparisons with GI.

He's an infiltrator, and has ED on top of TC. What are you thinking about? Skip fitness and go to town. Or dump 3 points in it and take them away from PM rank 6, it's not that useful after all.

Just use a powerful weapon. If I were to get into a platinum game with him right now, I'd take a BW.

6/5/6/5/4 - he was my first plat champion. BW, disruptor or phasics, could go with AP or drill also. One of the best infils IMO.

Nothing wrong with 6/6/6/6/6 builds. I use em all the time, and that doesn't stop me from giving advice, even if it's wrong.
