I agree, FemHawke and Shep leave much to be desired

And yeah part of the reason I'm pro playersexual. It bothered me a bit in games with a silent protag but it was always easily modded out or ignored or I could trudge through playing both genders. Now with voiced PC? That's not happening for me.

Might as well make everyone bi, since they'll end up that way in the inevitable hentai anyhow.
mmm are their tentacles? Hentai's always better with tentacles.
NOOOOOOO anything but the Asari.

True but I rather cover all my bases tho.
(Honestly the only female PC voice I ever *enjoyed* and not tolerated was female SW in SWTOR. I love her voice. The rest of the fem voices I either tolerate or can't stand).
I'm very picky with female voices. Nowhere near as much with males. As long as it's not nasally or whiny sounding with a male I can roll with it. Females? Nope. Too high? Don't like. Too deep? don't like.

But overall, I can't say romances are really doing it for me anymore. A lot of the time it feels like they exist out of mere obligation for Bioware's history, rather than by providing their own interesting content.

Would be more interesting if you play a drinking game with people making fun of topics. that might actaully be deadly if play that, so dont.

Eh, I wouldn't mind cutting back on romance content, to be honest. And I don't mean "cut back romance content by omitting gay romances".

I actually wouldn't mind a game with 1 male LI and 1 female LI (for both genders obviously) with a strong connection to the plot. (I'd kind of like it actually especially if the romance played small parts in it *not so much that you're completely missing anything by just being friends tho*). Of course there has to be the option to go LOL NO to both.

I write by the seat of my pants all the time. Nevertheless I tend to rack up a lot more notes about the world I'm creating than I ever actually put in a manuscript, and I write down whatever ideas occur to me at any point whether I incorporate it into the story or not. So yeah, more information exists than is in the written, final work. But then maybe my definition of writing by the seat of my pants is different. Even though I don't plan out things in advance, I still end up with a lot more info about the world than shows up in any given story.
Either way, I seriously doubt that Bioware Devs are writing by the seat of their pants.

Basically you want to romance everyone possible, but not for other people? I agree with ME3, 2 gay, 2 straight, 2 bi. That's actually what they have in term of in-dept romance. 2 gay (Traynor, Cortez), 2 straight (Garrus, Tali), 2 bi (Kaidan, Liara). The rest is just minor romance.KC_Prototype wrote...

"I didn't even break a sweat." I seriously squeed first time she said that. Love her voice so much I have like six marauders and 1 jugg.
Male SW's voice isn't bad but it's nowhere near as good to me so I have 1 dude mara (just to see cray cray Jaesa going crazy over the D).
That said Male smug's voice is *shivers* I don't like Fem Smug but it's so much more tolerable than male.

the harem between the inquisitor and the followers are completely up to Bioware. in DA2, i did'nt mind isabella saying those suggestive thing like "I'll even let you in on where i plunge it ;D" because honestly, friends kid that way. and if you're interested, than you're interested. I do prefer orgins because lelianna will only go that way with you if you pick the option to go that way with her. In DA2 they're more into Hawke's face with this because they're so interested in him/her at the start xD with varric and aveline you gotta go to THEM since they're not interested in Hawke.
tis quite interesting. but yush. this topic will get closed soon :3 keep partying and trying to change each other's opinions while you can
