P3 does it better. At least if you're a cheating ass you can get punished if you get caught. P4 just doesn't give a ****.

Hell no, unlike P3, I have the option to be a friend or no in P4 not to mention there is far more events, in P3 you are forced into a romance in a s-link. Also that is false. If you time it right you can do every single girl s-link and romance and none will break, ever. The fact that I do need to do timing just to get my UPs is complete and utter bs and horrible game deisgn, which thankfully Atlus fixed in P4.

Do note the bolded. There's an if there.

They both have flaws. P4 has no one give a **** (or they do but not enough self respect to dump the PC's trifling ass) only link that's easily ended is Ai's. And that's more about you saying the wrong thing than cheating. Only P4 romances I liked were Naoto's and Marie's.

True my point was those romances had flaws just like the BWs one did.

P3P is clearly the best tho. Female protag for the win and the whole ignoring being cheated on makes sense since one would get you arrested (ken) and the other two die/disappear before they can really overlap with anyone else.

Uh...pretty sure that's not what Kaiser meant. He/she is just pointing out how BSN argues about every****ingthing.

Too many bi Lis = issue
Not enough = issue
No LIs = issue
All playersexual = issue
Not all playersexual = issue
Sky is blue = issue
Dev said X = issue

And so on.

HEY. The devs put it in there and I wanted to see!

The english version is kind of half assed censored but you totally know what they *really* did. It doesn't help that they didn't censor (or at least not enough) the "let's go to your room" after the link is maxed out.

You spent a long time "talking" with Ken indeed.

Plus him and Aki ****ing at each other in Tartarus is funny.

Nah, man - Romancing Aigis or Marie could be considered valueable in the name of 'SCIENCE' knowing that they are beings from another realm (so to speak).

Marie's romance made me sad. I know you can get away with romancing her and someone else but I cantz.

XD she was though and that made that route so much more hilarious to watch. And you could see where the english version was trying to go NOTHING X RATED HAPPENED HERE EVERYTHING'S LEGAL when everything leading up to it was like "lol no".

It's a problem for me because I think characters should exist as their own independent entity, not a satellite that revolves around the player. One of my biggest gripes with an RPG is if everything feels too playercentric. I believe playersexual characters are an aspect of that. A player should feel like they're part of the game's world, not that the world revolves around them.

I think that's a good way to put it.

Yeah, well, that's nice and all but oddly enough, you only see threads complaining about that when it comes to companions's sexuality. No one gives a damn about a companion falling for either a massive unholy d-bag or a nice guy/girl. At all. Such thing does not break their immersion or whatever. What's up with that ?
