From a certain point of you, you can call alot of the stuff that can be done in the game cheating.

Certainly atleast from the perspective of wanting to experience a somewhat realistic representation of what me3 universe combat was supposed to be.

But I can't define what other people should find fun and I won't have them do that to me either.

If I don't like what people do in a game I can find another game or make my own.

Actual legitimate question:  I did my first successful Gold solo last weekend.  After 4 failed attempts in the last 2 weeks, I got impatient resorted to Incendiary cheese to do it.  I didn't stoop as low as using the Reegar - I used the Batarian Soldier with Claymore + Incendiary IV.  I used Shock Trooper Gear instead of Grenade Capacity and didn't use a single Thermal Clip, so it wasn't like I was cheesing everything.  Mainly just Brutes and Ravagers.  So is this legit?  Or do I need to hang my head in shame?

Clever use of game mechanics.

If you aren't modding, then how could it not be legitimate?  They never saw fit to ban anyone for using their bugged incendiary ammo.

BRB, enabling the infinite cobra missiles glitch on PC (can be done on host... with hit scan weapons) and getting sub 10m speedrun. What? My speed run is totally skilled guys, the glitch is in the game for me to abuse to artificially reduce my speed run time! It's clearly legit and worth making threads showing off about...

Could also teach people how to enable dodging with devastator mode, could show people how to "double" apply certain power effects too... Imagine running 2x devastator mode or 2x hunter mode at the same time... These are glitches which would greatly increase my speed run time. Should I abuse them and then claim I'm l33t for getting a really fast time whilst using them?

As for other known glitches like double hits; from what I can tell these are all deliberate bar the atlas; and the atlas itself received a substantial health and shield buff early on to compensate for double hit glitches.

I post to BSN to reach a wider audience, not to say how 1337 I am. Please link me to where I said this was a display of skill, because you seem to be inventing gibberish again. I make videos for the sole purpose of entertainment. Nothing more. I even said myself how cheesy it was. Generally speaking, the collector video got good reception. It was pretty much you and megascrub with each others dicks in your mouths saying how it wasn't legit because I was cheating. 

News flash: I don't give a single damn about your opinion. Until my entire audience is telling me they don't want to see a reegar again, im going to continue to use it to achieve fast solo times.

I do want to see your sub 14 minute gold speedrun time though, because hey, its that easy isn't it?

Yes, that explains the appearance of this thread in an attempt to justify your cheese to yourself.

I also must have missed the first sub 14 no rockets run, which are the only runs I really care about. Knocking 6 minutes off your score using missiles? That must be really difficult, with a 7.5 meter radius and 50,000 damage, must have been a real challenge for you to hit the ground within 5 meters of the target spawn...




EDIT: Kinda similar to knocking 5 minutes off your time using incendiary glitching....
