I am on pC, but... whatever
I m still a RC noob. For a while i have affected medigel to one of the my 2 small left mouse buttons (between the left mouse button and the side). It was a bit interferring with the left click shoot. So i got back to the "E" key. And i hate it : i like to be able to keep moving (rigth) while RC.

So how do you RC ?

You mean which key do I bind the gel to? Left control. It's a pretty weird choice as I understand it, most people use a mouse button, but when I learned how to reload cancel I only had an old mouse with two buttons, so... Left control it was, and now it's become a second nature, can't think of changing it. I even try to reload cancel in other games... XD

Yeah, it was about the key mostly.
Nice Idea ! But gel on the left control could be a problem on SP. Not so much anyway.
BUt if U are strafing left, do you quick strop pushing left ?

I've managed it a few times. I have medigel bound to "E" on my keyboard (you'll have to switch it back if you play a SP game because for some reason the changes in MP controls affect SP and vice versa) and it does work if I hit it just as the indicator says my gun is now reloaded.

I usually don't since I'm waiting till a power cooldown to finish so I can use the power, then hit it with the Claymore or whatever heavy, slow-reloading weapon I'm using.

No, I never need to stop, as I hit it with the back of my hand, and not with fingers 

If the problem with SP is that you risk of getting the power wheel up then you can do that in MP too, but it happens very rarely once you get used to RCing. Even when it does, it does for a split second and it's not a problem at all. By the way, you can't reload cancel easily in SP, as far as I know, since you don't have medigels

Use one of the thumb buttons on your mouse.

Your mouse doesn't have thumb buttons? Get a better mouse.


Personally though I reload cancel by sprinting, taking cover, exiting cover or using powers.

Just to add my name to the list of "names being taken" ... one of the thumb buttons on my mouse.

Though annoyingly it doesn't actually bind to medigel specifically but to quickslot 7 - which is fine in multiplayer as that IS medigel but when I played a bit of SP a while back it took me a couple of minutes to realise why I was switching to Cryo ammo during combat so frequently.

Seems I reload cancel (or attempt to) without realising I'm actually doing it - but with Cryo ammo bound to quickslot 7 it was less than successful :\\

Made the OP clearer i hope. I regrett that thos 2 buttons are not well placed for the thumb on my mouse...

No medigel for reviving squadmates ? seems it s a Long time i havent SPed

So with what Darquise said, i am tempted to use my little left finger for it. Tab is a bit high.
Is MajLock ok or does it mess with numbers ?

Lol, sorry if I wasn't clear. Left CTRL, yeah. And yes, you do have medigels for squadmates, but I think you use them up even if they're not down... But I may well be wrong. And even if I'm not... You could just not care less about them, which would be pretty right.

But using them cost a bit of money IIRC ? (Cause U get money instead when you R full on gels ?)
