The Nomad banner speaks of my love for the old aesthetic of the ME universe ..and the fact that I'm almost finished the requirement for it for the third time:whistle:

I thought BSN disapproved of boasting/show boating?
Logically speaking I should have the Lone Wolf banner because I have completed Solo Mastery the most, but what would they say about me? I like playing with myself? Erm....that's not the message I want to send

I use to wear "Hero of the last days" banner until bioware decided to coat it with 2d rainbow colors. How that banner relates to me is a long story

Whoops...I didn't mean to upset you :(
Please accept some virtual flowers as an apology. They are flowers covered in the tears of 1000 butt hurt PUGs. When there's a gentle breeze you can a moaning "Nooooo" coming from them.

Well it turns out I was wrong anyway! I am working on my 4th completion of map mastery :wizard: The idea of playing too much is generally subjective Chealac and apart from the extreme of disrupting our personal and professional lives in a detrimental way it is our own responsibility to judge individually. I find myself saying "I've only played for 800 hrs" because I know that my total hrs spent on ME3 multi is probably average around BSN vs the top tier. That said- it's hard for me not to view my total hrs played kind of negatively and in a depricating way. But I'm a gamer and this is my hobby- seeing the total hrs makes me sometimes a little embarrassed! I spend many more hrs reading books though, so there is always that ^_^

Yeah, I don't understand people getting embarrassed about number of hours played.

I mean, yeah, I guess I can understand... but nobody should feel BAD about it.

There is no in-life counter adding up all the hours people watch TV... or read books... or waste time on the Internet... or go fishing... or listen to music... etc.

Gaming is a hobby/recreational activity just like anything else people do. It just also happens to be the only one that likes to monitor how much time you've spent doing it, so people see the total number of hours and think "ZOMG! I'VE WASTED THAT MUCH OF MY LIFE?!?!?!!?1!!11"

No, you didn't "waste" that much of your life. Had you not been gaming, what would you have done with those hours? Most likely, some other hobby/recreational activity that is no better or worse than playing video games. As long as you get your studies done, do your job well, and don't utterly neglect your family, then I see no harm in spending your freetime hours engaged in gaming (but naturally, I'm biased, since I am also here on a video game message board Image IPB).

What I'm saying is, if you had fun doing it and it didn't hurt you or anyone else, then why worry so much about how many hours you did this or that?
