After he and Shepard lived through the Collector base mission, they DO NOT spill any drinks on the Citadel.

I'm assuming they had a celebration of sorts after their victory so they probably went to the Citadel. The ship was pretty empty in my case because the crew was all dead. Then after the drinks Shepard went to prison.
