Besides; wasn't Ashley's concern not that they weren't human, but that they weren't ALLIANCE. Which makes perfect sense is and is less bigoted, unless I'm thinking of Pressly. Yeah, I think I might be thinking of Pressly.
and you think war is won through politics I assume? Negative, much like war freedom is won through the barrel of a gun
Let's hate on Liara...

Who cares anyway to be honest?
If the character has an intresting story and such, it's good enought for me.

Furthermore Liara earned my ire by being a Space Mage and I just hate Mages, space or otherwise, so at best she was tolerated because I couldn't put a bullet in her.

Ashley was chased down by the WEAKEST enemies in ME1. So weak in fact, I don't even think they bothered showing them again after the intro level/Eden Prime.

In her test chair,
And doesn't mind being treated like a dog?
She might be good in the sack,
And have a nice rack,
But it's all wrong wrong wrong.
Liara, Liara,
She's about as interesting as wood,
Liara, Liara,
She's worse than bad, she's a bore!
Ok... I know a lot of that didn't rhyme... but I've had that insufferable jingle in my head all night!

I enjoy hating on Liara. I don't actually hate her, but she's really lame and she doesn't belong on the crew. She's pretty useless in combat and she has to apologize all the time. She also makes romancing her way too easy.
Liara's far from useless in combat. Biotics probably don't suit your play-style, that's all.
