Germany was firmly allied with the nations you just mentioned 20 years after WW2... (NATO) Before that West Germany was already allied with the U.S, U.K and even France.

Besides; wasn't Ashley's concern not that they weren't human, but that they weren't ALLIANCE. Which makes perfect sense is and is less bigoted, unless I'm thinking of Pressly. Yeah, I think I might be thinking of Pressly.

Besides Canadian Military means jack**** in world politics anyway.

Politics and warfare what's the difference. Military is only a part of politics.Or Have you all turned USSR and is now politics just part of the military?

Everyone in Mass Effect 1 does.

It's like in the 2 years between games, they invented 3 more cups.

Samara goes "boobage" :P
Who cares anyway to be honest?
If the character has an intresting story and such, it's good enought for me.

Exactly. I can't say I'm a huge fan of Ashley or Liara. But I sure as **** wasn't leaving Kaiden on Virmire, he was like my best friend on a ship full of some strange people. Wtf? o.O Oh and Tali rules, hope for a LI in ME2.

*All other ME1 characters make a sad face*

As I remeber WW2 ended with couple of A-Bombs being droped, becuase the barrel of the gun justice was becoming too ineffective.

Okay well sorry ME1 crew. You weren't all strange, just special in your own ways. Garrus was pretty awesome though, he was my fave squad member that I didn't like want an LI for or anything, just awesome. Kaiden and Garrus are my fave people on the crew, with Tali being the fave I want for an LI. :D

I thought we were talking about Liara this whole time.

Personally I didn't like Liara, her voice grated on my nerves and I didn't like the whole "damsel in distress" entrance. Now while some might argue Ash had the same that was slightly different. With Liara you were a rescuer, with Ash you were reinforcements. It's like the difference between helping someone carry a TV upstairs(Ash) and doing it for them(Liara).

Furthermore Liara earned my ire by being a Space Mage and I just hate Mages, space or otherwise, so at best she was tolerated because I couldn't put a bullet in her.

Pfft. Liara would've had to face down a bunch of harder geth and a krogan with JUST biotics. I'd lock myself in a closet, too.

Ashley was chased down by the WEAKEST enemies in ME1. So weak in fact, I don't even think they bothered showing them again after the intro level/Eden Prime.

What gives Shepard stares,
In her test chair,
And doesn't mind being treated like a dog?

She might be good in the sack,
And have a nice rack,
But it's all wrong wrong wrong.

Liara, Liara,
She's about as interesting as wood,
Liara, Liara,
She's worse than bad, she's a bore!

Ok... I know a lot of that didn't rhyme... but I've had that insufferable jingle in my head all night!

I enjoy hating on Liara. I don't actually hate her, but she's really lame and she doesn't belong on the crew. She's pretty useless in combat and she has to apologize all the time. She also makes romancing her way too easy.

Liara's far from useless in combat.   Biotics probably don't suit your play-style, that's all.

I cannot, in good conscience, allow this Liara hate to happen!!

And, my sesibilities cannot be offended by pointless, unintelligent, hate-filled babblings!
