I'm pretty sure there's already been plenty of "Liara hate" around here. Far as I know, every character (and voice actor / actress) has gotten their fair share of love and hate on these forums by now.

So, what do you say we let this thread sink to the bottom of the pile already?

Hate on Liara? Why would I want to do that? Id much rather continue to hate on this new band of unimpressive posers who irritate me before the game is even started.

Ashley is a soldier,but to dumb to keep diszipline in meetings.No miracle she was used in unimportant places.There she belongs too or as a choice for virmire.

Im going to bring my favorite sniping rifle for those collectors. I wont let them get near any of my old ME1 crew or Jacob....yes, due to seeing 30 mins of beginning footage, Im firmly placing Jacob in the awesome sibling relationship like category for my femsheps who are paired with Kai and Liara. I actually LOL'd at this....It would be a funny and plausable scenario except for the fact that it's already happened in the comic so no matter how much hate I throw at her...She'll come crawling back...She'll ALWAYS come crawling back...That's right...goooooood puppy...Now SIT.....huh?...Oh...*ahem*...Sorry...lost in the moment

As far as her not being dainty is concerned....Yea...she is...she nearly passes out every damn time she melds with you....You dont see Spock or Professor Xavier wanting to go lie down in the medical bay everytime they exert a telepathic bond do you? hell no, you dont lol.

Shepard - The Mu relay can link to dozens of systems, there's no point.

I think you might have misunderstood the reason why she hid during that final fight against the Krogan and those 4 other geth: She wasn't part of your squad so you couldn't use her and they couldn't have just made her disappear randomly during that scene .

The reason was she didnt eat and sleep for days.(Remember kaidans question)

Uh huh and soldiers are trained to be at their peak still under these circumstances...Liara's not a soldier I know but still...weakness is weakness.

Ok, agreed that the physiology isnt the same...But can you actually claim that the process doesnt work similar?  If thats the case, and its just the Asari physiology, then shes STILL weak in comparison

I have a feeling she won't always come crawling back.  If your Shepard continues to be an a** to Liara, even she will eventuall lose patience. 

She's just a bit more understanding and compassionate than most...that's why she puts up with DoucheBag Shepard's sh*t.  But this might not always be the case.

Can you make a case that the process is at all similar? You can say the end result is similar, or that the goal is similar, but do you know anything at all about how the process actually works? Because it's the process that is draining, as Liara says.

Liara only gets weak on two occasions. 1 is after you rescue her, when she hadn't eaten or slept in days. The second time is after probing the prothean beacon, a process which she says would have destroyed a lesser mind.

So, yeah, absolutely nothing indicating that Liara is weak, and she certainly isn't dumb.
