Now all we need is for people to go and see it when it comes out. Good reviews are half the battle but the biggest obstacle to Guardians of the Galaxy is the fact none of the characters in are household names ( ie. casual audiences will not know who Starlord, Rockey, Groot, Drax and Gamora are ). It also doesn't help that the 2 biggest stars in the film ( Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper ) are playing CGI characters so the film can't be marketed on their star power.

Incidentally, this film comes out in Europe on my birthday so I know how I will be spending my evening.

I agree with the sentiment on paper but I also want the film to do well at the box office so that well get a sequel, it would make Marvel more confident at branching out and highlighting some of their less famous characters.

I think he was at Comic Con at the Avengers panel and he was wearing Thanos' infinity gauntlet

Quite enjoyable. Fantastic to watch. Some of the things that happen are unbelievably stupid, but the climax confrontation was the perfect amalgam of cheese and awesome.

Love the posters too.

IT WAS AWESOME!!!

The perfect mix of totally bad*ss, hilarious, shamelessly cheesy, and equally heartfelt. The perfect, colorful, larger than life, sci-fi movie Hollywood has sorely needed after all of the sterile, grim dark Hans Zimmer Inception-esque "brraaaam" kind of sci-fi movies we keep getting.

Film was really good and they set up an interesting cosmic universe for future films. Also, Drax was surprisingly one of my favourite characters. I'm definitely going to see it again.

It is a clichéd cheese fest, but a bloody good one at that.

Stunning visuals, great combat, top notch humor, capable characters to run the show, and has all the hearts that makes it a Marvel movie. If I were to say the movies strongest point is its humor. Haven't laughed as much in a cinema for years. Downside would be its main antagonist and weak story, but it hardly comes in the way of the enjoyment of the overall experience.

YES. Put that on a poster or something. My kind of film!

I should probably see it on Wednesday. Soon.
