 Hi all.

I'm going to do a ME2 play and I would like to do an "Iceman" build for an Infiltrator. Focusing in frozen enemies as much as I can. But I would like to use Tactical Cloak and Sniper as well.

I was thinking of maxing to Squad Cryo Ammo and using Avalanche Heavy Weapon. And generally briging Miranda w/ Overload and Warp to strip defenses and Mordin w/ Cryo Blast and Incinerate to strip armor.

Against Collectors, change Mordin for Thane to have double Warp. Against Geth, changin Mordin for Garrus for double Overload.

What do you think?

Thanks for your attention.

Squad Cryo for sure, unless you want Disruptor Ammo on squad.

Energy Drain as bonus power and Incinerate for stripping armor and shields quickly. You would want to use the Viper sniper rifle, since it has a high chance of activating ammo powers' crowd-control effects.

I would not bother with the Avalanche too much since Heavy Weapon ammo can be limited.

I want to use Tactical Cloak as much as I can, so I would not be using powers with the same recharge time. If absolutely necessary, and I can't destroy defenses using Miranda's Warp and Overload, I would prefer to change the ammo powers of my weapon momentarily to Disruptor for shields or Warp for Barrier/Armor then switch back to Cryo.

Just get Squad Cryo Ammo, Assassin Cloak, and go Agent in Passive, and get the Viper. The rest is "dealer's choice," but I would run Shuriken, take Shotgun training and then use Scimitar or Eviscerator as well.

I started the run this weekend. I choose Energy Drain as bonus power to have an additional anti-shield power.

I used a ME1 save file and started the run at level 3. I've also already finished ME2 in other run so I get 25% more experience at missions. After Freedom progress I've done all Firewalker (DLC) missions, Normandy Crash Site (DLC), Lost Operative, All Normandy assignments, All Citadel and Omega assignments I could and ended up being Level 7 BEFORE recruiting Mordin Solus and then I was already with Squad Cryo Ammo in my first major mission. Level 7 = 12 points = 2 (Disruptor Ammo, to unlock Cryo) + 10 (Squad Cryo Ammo).

I'm running with Incisor Sniper Rifle and Phalanx Heavy Pistol for the beginning of the game. Later I will change to Viper and then I will try a Shotgun or Assault Rifle training in the Collector Ship.

I will level Warp and Overload evenly for Miranda and Incinerate and Cryo Blast for Mordin. I will level Warp for Thane to go against Collectors and Overload for Garrus to go against Geth.

Thanks for all the tips.

Sounds good.  Maybe try to get Area Overload on Miranda a little before max Warp, since most enemy basics have shields and if you strip them quickly, you can freeze them. :)

I was afraid I was not going to have talent points until Horizon so I spent on Heavy Warp to have a strong barrier damaging power. I'm using Area Overload on Garrus for the shielded enemies (mainly Geth). I also have a point on Energy Drain for my Shepard.

I'm more a casual gamer, so I'm playing on Normal, so not so many shielded enemies.

I changed to the Locust SMG for close quarters. The Shuriken I didn't like, but the Locust is amazing.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I did a guide on the Iceman Infiltrator Build and I wanted to share with you. Thanks all people who helped me with tips.
