I hope somebody on this forum can help me, I've just recently purchased NWN2 (loving it by the way, despite being very late to the party).  I'm doing the Neeska quest in the main campaign where you invade the warehouse. I hope that isn't a spoiler.. eventually you DO go into a warehouse, SHOCK.

For some reason, my teammates have stopped taking damage from enemies.  Attack rolls land properly, but ALL damage that hits any of my teammates registers as 0.  Reloading to a previous save hasn't helped.  Any idea what could possibly be causing this, and how to fix it?  I have not used ANY cheats of any kind, or ever touched the debug menu/dm mode, if that helps.  My teammates are the dwarf, Neeska, and the druid lady.  My character appears to take damage as normal.

Thanks!

That's no druid lady, that's my wife ;)

Not sure what is going on, especially since you haven't loaded anything into your override folder. Are you upgraded all the way or did you install off of DVD and not patch?

Regards

You're sure it's not just Elanee casting stoneskin on them or something?

I remember that glitch happening to me a couple of times ages ago. No idea if it just fixed itself or a patch corrected it or what.

Stupid question: If you reload, do you get the bug again?

It sounds like they've been plot-flagged during a cinematic conversation, but a script failed to un-plot-flag them again when the conversation ended. It might fix itself during the next cinematic scene you encounter.

If DannJ is right and they are set as immortal, there's a console command that might fix it, assuming it works the same way as script-set immortality. Type this into the chat box:

##Debugmode 1

Then select one of the affected party members and type:

##dm_god

If that console command fixed it, do it for all the companions separately, then type:

##debugmode 0

If this doesn't work, let us know, as there are potential scripting solutions.

Thanks very much for the help everybody!

Great to see that there is still an active community for this game willing to help a newbie like me. DannJ turned out to be exactly correct. I progressed a little further into the story (easiest. fights. ever.) and once I had another basic talk cut scene my characters began to take damage as normal. Buh. Glad I don't need to re-start. As much as I like the game, having to go through the harvest festival again would probably kill it for me.

Thanks again! Issue resolved.

Aw, I liked the High Harvest Festival. But, then, I've only been through it once. I do want to go through the OC again some time, but there are so many community modules waiting to be played, too.

Just for the record, you can skip the festival. You'd still have to play a lot to get to the point where you are now, though.

How do you skip the festival? Is it a specific dialog choice?

It asks you when you start the game if you'd like to skip it in a pop-up window. If it doesn't specifically say skip "the festival" it asks if you wanna skip the tutorial or something along those lines.
