Ok but be serious. If we seen, Hybrids from Starcraft 2, looks at some points smillar to Reapers, but unfortunelly there is two units.

Hybrid Reaver as Reaper Brute?

Hybrid Destroyer as Reaper Banshee?

This is only inspiration?

I wouldn't even say the primary inspiration. They're a cross between the Shadows of Babylon 5 Mythic Elder Race that comes out every 1000 years to wreak havoc on the galaxy, sound familiar? Also the ship styles recall one another, both with the spindly leg/tentacles. And the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica: AI that overthrows its Organic Masters and begins a reign of terror.

The Citadel felt very much like B5 as well. A place where the political powers met, and whose politics mirrored that of the larger galaxy.

Also the Assassins from Frederik Pohl's Heechee Saga, although that parallel would have been closer if Bio had implemented the Dark Energy plot. Spoilers follow:


The Assassins are working on restructuring the universe itself to make it hostile to organic life, and destroy any organics who might become advanced enough to interfere. It ends in a kind of Synthesis, even, since humans who duplicate their consciousness in synthetic form are free to join them in the project.

Take a look to OBVIOUS SPOILER to the Asimov's foundation Edge novel.

Using the few scraps of reliable information within the various myths,
Trevize and Pelorat discover a planet called Gaia, which is inhabited
solely by Mentalics, to such an extent that every organism and inanimate
object on the planet shares a common mind. Having followed Trevize by
their own means, Branno and Gendibal both reach Gaia at the same time.
