1. TGI - because TGI (with harrier of course)
2. AA - stasis v. phantom followed by throw
3. Geth Jugg - because heavy melee

Seriously though, my favorite kit to use on them is probably the Shadow. The strongest kit against them is probably the Asari Vanguard or Batarian Soldier.

Phoenix vanguard with armor piercing ammo makes short work of cerb...especially dragoons and atlas's.
Yeah but the thing is..for some reason the ex cerberus become prime targets and objects of extreme hatered when playing vs their former employers.
Everything is set on killing and hunting just you.

I gotta be honest...i haven't really noticed this when playing them, tho it would make perfect sense for them to react that way. I have more trouble trying to shake banshees away from me. They seem to be attracted only to me and will follow me around the entire map ignoring everybody else.
They must know there's some chocolate love goodness to be found beneath that sexy armor...heh...

Shadow is most fun though.

I've been looking at Banshee behaviour, and in some instances it really seemes like they are keen on hunting specific targets. It looks like it always starts on wave 5, and procedes in 8 and 9. I am left under impression that they will hunt either the top scorer or the one that took most of their sisters dow in the previous waves. This. Be it a fact or a coincidence, I've managed to predict thisin most cases. Sometimes even both of them will hunt one target, even if you go and fight something else.

Banshees hunt the first target they see, man... The reason why that's usually the tops scorer is that the top scorer is usually first at the spawns.FuriousFelicia wrote...

Stasis may be very very good against Phantoms, but Overload + OHK is better.
Oh, and on the subject of Shadow Strike: you can OHK a Gold Ravager with it, never mind Dragoons.

Turian Sentinel w/ Suppressor
This will one-shot every Gold Cerberus humanoid (after Overload for shielded units), and should kill a Dragoon in 3.
You can use a Rail Amp instead of Targeting VI, but it increases STK on Centurion and Nemesis to 3 if you don't Overload.
Gear and Armor is your choice, and you could potentially drop the last rank of Warp for Fitness 4 if you really want since you aren't Incendiary glitching.
