Meh... I wasn't impressed. Avoid human players, shoot the bots (which make ME3's AI look like geniuses)... score highest by a large margin.

Or just kill everyone indiscriminately.

maybe, they can kill you easy too tho.  the bots on the other hand....  target those pretty much exclusively only taking out a human player if the need arises.

But that's boring. The most fun I had in the beta was running around walls like a monkey on crack and dropping down on unsuspecting pilots. The mind games that you can play with an extra axis of movement are just incredible. It adds an entire new dynamic to the tried and true FPS formula, this is truly CoD 2.0 IMO and that's a good thing (disclaimer: I haven't really enjoyed a CoD since 4). They're pretty much just there to make your Titan drop faster anyway, you'll score way higher if you can destroy pilots and titans.. I imagine it will be rebalanced before release anyway.

As I said take it with a grain of salt, im weird in that I don't enjoy most first person games period.

I crushed a titan by calling mine in right on top of it. Sold.

It actually looks pretty cool, although I'm not sold on it yet.

Kind of odd to not care about something you know exists yet know nothing about. Those types of things are what worry me the most.

Will another thread like this pop up for the next upcoming blockbuster game?

Stay tuned, full story in three months.

I lol'd.

Haven't played it yet, but this might be a reason to finally get an Xbone.

Yes, this will go down in history as the 13th death of ME3.

I never asked if it would kill the game only that it would drain good amount of its players.

No. The only thing that will significantly reduce the number of those that remain is the next ME installment.

Considering ME3 survived the release of GTAV, Ghosts, BF4, and ACIV, I don't think anything will kill it off anytime soon.

That said, Titanfall looks pretty legit.

Titanfall does look quite fun, but a multiplayer only game with a price tag like that is no no for me. I am saving my money for The witcher 3 and DA:I.

Implying this is a constructive topic to begin with.  What's there to say?

Every game that's come out since Mass Effect 3's release has pulled away at least some of the playerbase.  Sometimes a few of the diehards have come back.  Same sh*t different pile man.

Titanfall and BF4 have dragged me away since getting the Xone. Can't wait to see what the other game modes are like for TF.

I will also be joining the Master Race soon (another 2 months)

I have been playing far less ME3 than I originally thought after I came back from my 6 month hiatus. Most of my friends have moved on to other games, and Pugging has been boring for me.

I am very interested in Titanfall despite not playing any PvP games for 10+ years. It is time for me to utilize my gaming pc's potential.

It was a constructive topic because people were discussing if they were getting it or not. As the old adage goes, "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all."

And I agree about your second point, I still remember the great GTA exodus of 2013.

Considering it's horrendously overpriced and on Origin, I think I can live without it.

Overpriced?

Last time I checked, it was priced like any other full-price game at 60 bucks local currency. So unless you try to make the point that all games are overpriced, I don't see where that comment would come from.

Or alternatively:
Going by that logic you shouldn't have bought Mass Effect 3.

Titanfall doesn't interest me. I'm sure I'll still play it for like a week or two though. That's what I do with any Call of Duty game.

Nope.

Off topic: Skyrim is on sale for 10 bucks on XBL. Is it any good? Should I buy it?
