Just out of curiosity, how many Titans are there? From what i've been able to tell from promotional material, it seems like there are a basic light, medium, and heavy mech which can be upgraded with right primary weapon and a left secondary utility.

its confirmed those are the only titans

It was confirmed those are the only three at launch. There has been no say whether Titans might be the subject of future DLCs for example.

And there's more custumization to it than just gun and secondary utility.

You have the gun, the missile pod, the defensive ability and two perks you can chose for every Titan. Also every Titan comes with different agility and armor ratings and has a different core ability (those are chassis bound so no interchanging those).

Every Titan chassis plays a little different from the other two and can be set up to work again different from its other possible loadouts.

I thought we were talking just at launch, and no need to throw facts at me man, ive played the beta for hours and hours on xbox one. Absolutely loved it

I apologize if I seemed antagonizing. I had misinterpreted your statement as I thought you were saying it was confirmed that Titanfall, as in the whole game, would only have three Titans total.

Btw, I had played with the Ogre and Stryder (they were available as rare burn cards) and can attest to their respective roles. The Ogre could take more damage and its core power overcharged its shields for higher shield protection and faster shield regeneration making it incredibly durable. However it was slower than the Atlas Titan and had only one Dash meter.

The Stryder could take a bit less damage overall, but was slightly faster than the Atlas and had three Dashs. And its core power accelerated the Dash meter refill significantly, allowing for nearly unrestricted dashing for as long as it was active.

All of them were fun to play and I hope that whatever other designs Respawn can dream up with have similar unique properties (I could for example think of a real tank Titan, no Dash, but instead vastly more health and shields, faster default shield regeneration and maybe two defensive power charges instead of the usual one).

I know.

I just thought some might want to know and knowing BSN, most of those potential people are probably too lazy to check out the official site even if I linked it.

Either way, no loss putting it here.aye?
