I usually just jump in for a quick public game or two. Last time I felt like playing, Origin demanded another useless update and I just couldn't be arsed to do that. Sometimes I play on a friends account when I visit him. Last time I had to reset his GI because he specced out of hunter mode.

Were you only playing on Platinum? That's where most of the missile glitchers do their damage. That's too bad because if you just add a bunch of people to your friends list that play Platinum it's usually just fine.

Judging by the numbers of Pugs with low level N7/CP, and high level N7/low CP I've encountered in gold games, there are a fair few new players joining, and old players picking it back up.

 I hadn't played since the beta way back when, but recently picked it back up after a friend invited me to join in on the fun. Suffice to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of content that's come out -- for free, no less! -- for the multiplayer mode.

i usually play Juggernaut and can solo Golds, so I'm usually up for having extra guys around for DPS (after all, rewards aren't split, so the more the merrier). Add me on Origin (PC player), can't promise I'll talk much but feel free to join game if you see me playing.

i do have a relatively low N7 and multiplayer score (or whatever it's called), but I promise, I'm competent. Nothing more fun than wading into a sea of elite enemies and tanking, or keeping Phantoms and Pyros from my squadmates. My score's usually not phenomenal, but that's not what I'm going for.

Fewer and fewer, as far as I can tell. I sit for long minutes while it searches for a gold forum with no joy. Then I might gear up and start a game alone, and get no one joining. Public solos are harder than private solos, IMO, don't know why but objectives seem to clock out on me a lot more. Then I might even wait a long time for a silver game. Then I just quit for the night.

Seems to happen that way more and more. Haven't connected to a gold team game three nights running.

I know a small percentage of those low N7 with low manifest are actually BSNers who've started over. I did it for a month ("he's going into beast mode again!" as I carry three inexperienced Pugs in Gold), and I've got people in my friends list who are doing it as well, wanting to keep playing and looking for a new challenge. But my experience last month was that there are plenty of new people and plenty of veterans still playing at all hours.

Your sig says GMT-4... I'm GMT-5 and I was on last night ~8pm and had no problems finding full lobbies in 30s or less.  Have you got all of the DLCs installed?

I usually play with friends instead of random lobbies, and I see a good amount of people whenever I sign on. The players I added from bsn are very helpful and make it hard to go back to pugs. I've only noticed a lack of players for Bronze. (>.> yes I know #lolbronze but sometimes I want to use a volus sniper without being trolled!)

Tried Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. No luck. Sometimes I have no problem with Silver, but gold has not been quick. I always PUG, BTW. And yes I have all DLCs. At times, I start a silver game solo, and if a good team joins, bump it up to gold and hope some stay. I would say that's mostly how I get gold games. It's actually a nice way to find a fun team of pugs. Surprising how well some low N7 play the game.

Haven't had trouble finding Gold lobbies. Not sure I want to chance the Platinum ones with all of the glitchers running amuck. I'm going for BotB, then will probably retire for good.

I have 20 friends in-game/online at the moment, on PC. There were a few quiet weeks not long ago when I would not have more than 8 people around, but now (post-Titanfall beta) it seems to be back in full activity and I consistently see 17-22 on average, up to 28 on weekends. Which is about as much as I would see last summer. So I would say the game is far from dead.
