 What are the benefits beside SP asset?

Knew it but prestiged all classes anyway. Now I cant play gold and make little credit 
Probably wont prestige much in the future unless I feel like I need new characters. I'd rather have more X weapons and gears than get a rating number if I want to show off to others:wizard:

No benefits. The only reason to promote them is for the challenge, which is hardly compelling.

I hate the fact that it benefits the Single Player, 'cause I Bad Endings! I would promote more, but I don't want my N7 Spec Ops asset to increase anymore.

The SP war asset bonus was just supposed to be a perk of promoting for MP.

It was also a way to allow you to change builds on the class without using a respec card.

I find it helps me quite a bit learning to play new kits. That said, going from level 13 to 20 takes an irritatingly long time

Yeah..I played the campaigns mainly and MW2 very casually. So - I was casual and didn't learn stuff like prestige blah blah. Also I wondered about the word choice considering it says in game "promote".

I recently did quite a bit of promoting and leveling, just to complete the challenge. I found it was surprisingly fun to play some lower level characters and rarely used ones again and try out some new and different builds, without being limited to the 3 respec cards. So I might actually do it again occasionally.

Na your not ignorant, some of us that played the COD rubbish were the ignorant ones.  But I realized the error my ways.

i have like 20M credits.... when i have to restock level 3 and 4 stuff i spend something like 4M or 5M.
before doing it i promote all my classes. It's like to have a free respec card for any single character.... it's a good deal!
