Wow he has improved from what i saw. He sounds epic and a great voice for shepard. I wonder how much they worked on his voice because i got tingles down my spine.
Anyone Else notice this??...

Oh yeah, definitely. I'm sure that the more he voices Shepard, the more he'll improve. He's probably just getting more and more into the character the more he plays him.
Also, I'm sure either him or the voice director (or both) listened to the criticisms of his acting and improved upon it.

I actually liked him from the first game but I'm not all that picky when it comes to voice acting.

I liked him in the first game too, sans a line here or there. Everything I've heard in the ME2 videos sounds very well delivered!

He does sound more natural. Though the great thing with his voice is that it fits most possible characters (unless you create someone really ridiculous). I mean, my main Shepard looks Asian, but it fits him perfectly.

Meer was definitely good in ME1, he had some of the most memorable lines.
He was off on some lines, but so was Hale, which is to be expected since it's not either could see the actual interaction they were providing the voice for.
The launch trailer and his voice over work for it are simply epic though, hopefully it'll be enough to get him some respect on the forums.
