I purchased DA:O yesterday and installed it that afternoon. Been playing it ever since and it runs fine if you bootcamp your Macbook and run in XP. Well, not every macbook i can't say. But for macbooks aluminum and generations thereafter should be fine. That's what i'm running it on. And if it doesnt run on Vista you should not have installed Vista. Bad gamer. Bad. : ) Hope this post helps someone. I know I'm always anxious to hear the verdict on new PC games stability on MacBooks.

I'm currently playing on the old 24" iMac running xp through bootcamp, but all the colours in the game are horrendous...they just cover the entire screen with vivid shades of blue pink and green, and it flickers on and off consistantly....not sure what I could do to fix it, and I mean I would assume that if youre mac could run it then so could mine =S

ah! I downloaded the nvidia drivers from their site and now it works =) It didnt like the default drivers that XP had set up to use.

I have the same MacBook as you but with 4gb DDR3 and I can only run it on low @ 1024x768 with about 15~35 fps. I do have a gaming PC and I really want to play this on the go at decent setting, but I can live with low. what settings are you using?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 2.13ghz
160gb 7200rpm Western Digital
4gb Crucial RAM DDR2 800mhz
ATI HIS HD 4760 512mb GDDR3
600watt Coolmax PSU
^runs it on medium/high, no AA, 1440x900
