The Blood Dragon Armor exists in Mass Effect 2 so maybe that means that Dragon Age and Mass Effect exist in the same universe, just at different times.
That wouldn't matter for a timeless character like Shale though!  How cool would it be for Shale or another Dragon Age character to join Commander Shepard for a temporary mission!?

Maybe Mass Effect 2 will even tell us what happened to Morrigan?

Morrigan is the Eve of the entire Krogan race!

..seriously though, no. I want the universes to remain apart.

And the Blood Dragon Armour in ME2 has very different origins than the one in DAO.

I believe that Thedas was actually an early human colony. Atmospheric conditions however caused them all to go insane, lose their memories and then begin to believe that they had existed on Thedas for thousands of years already.

The Elves, Quanari, and Dwarves are the natives alien species.

I think the collectors are actually supposed to be evolved Darkspawn. So there should be a mission where Commander Shepard goes to Thedas to recruit Alistair or another Grey Warden to better learn how to destroy the Darkspawn Collectors.

Or better yet, maybe Commander Shepard can become a Grey Warden himself.

Quanari are actually human/turians hybrids!!!!

Maybe they'll be a DLC where you can import your War hound from DA:O to Mass Effect 2

That would be awesome.  They should make it so the Dog's spacesuit has a gun mount attatched to it's back or something.

NO

They are separate, and the "Blood Dragon Armor" has a completely different backstory in Mass Effect 2. Has NOTHING to do with Dragon Age.

Klendagon, the planet which Presrop orbits,  has a prominent scar which was apparently made by a mass accelerator round. The art for this was also used for the moon in Dragon Age; and it's actually an image of real life Mars.

I don't know if that's an Easter Egg, or if there's more to it. Most likely the former.

I don't think it's a mere Easter egg.  I think you're on to something.

read the in-universe description of both armors, one is a mystical dwarven armor made to slay dragons, the other is a bloodsport armor from the edmonton blood dragons....what do you think?

I think the universes should stay apart... Except maybe a very, very brief Sandal cameo or something (find him in a hard to find corridor in some hostile territory, ask him how he got there, he answers, obviously, "enchantment").

Dog! Or a ingame reference to a character like they did with Shepard in the deep roads.
