Tali just got exiled, so after talking with her Shepard went to talk to Kasumi. And what did Kasumi have to say? "I'm really glad you got Tali out of trouble with the Migrant Fleet. Its really hard to see her upset." Umm, Kasumi, when you say "out of trouble with the migrant fleet," do you mean "out of the migrant fleet?" I guess that's one way of getting out of trouble. Not sure why you're happy about it though.
Kasumi is not as well informed as she thinks she is

Actually Kasumi was more aware than most of how messed up the Fleet's leadership was, so as far as she was concerned Tali was better off as far away from the Fleet as possible. /headcanon
